The brown color is much darker than as pictured. I usually wear a 12 and they were too big in the toe. 11.5 was a little tight with thick socks. Sending them back.

These are comfortable but wear out waaaayy too quickly. I have worn these on rotation for three months and for almost a month now they have almost no tread left. The soles are made out of cheap rubber. For $150 these are a disgrace. They look great, they feel great, they DO NOT LAST.

My fault, I didnt inspect the boot well enough before i purchased it. This boot is claimed to be water proof, it is even stamped on the outside under the logo. I realized only after i kicked a little powder snow onto the toe getting into my car, when the snow melted it soaked my sock! The tongue is not gusseted as on every "waterproof" shoe/boot in the world. So a day later I am on a plane and I look down and notice the sole on my left boot is peeling off!!! Yikes I didnt pack a second pair of shoes. Am I gonna have to wrap tape around the toe??? The biggest insult was walking thru a big discount mart (Wal) and seeing the exact same boot for sale- minus the name. Exact copy. Guess it could have been a knock-off but one never knows

I just got my order this morning, and I found out that the internal material of one shoe fell out. I can see everything under that brown cover. I waited three days for this defective product, now I need to send this thing back for who knows how many days, order a new one for another three days. This process is annoying and unpleasant!

Wore them a couple days a week for 6 months before the soles started to detach, similar to previous pair. Other than that I loved them, but in future if I want a breeze around my toes I'll buy sandals.

I had a horrible experience with Timberland. I have been buying boots for about 8 years now from you guys, but after this experience I am done. I ordered this boot for my dad's birthday and it arrived all scuffed and scratched. I had to return it and buy it again, and I thought I would give it to him on father's day. The second pair came in also scuffed and scratched as if it had been worn. I failed to give my father a gift on his birthday and father's day in a timely manner. It is so frustrating that it happened twice in a row to a brand I really trusted. I will be returning the shoes to a local Timberland store and finding a new brand for boots. Thank you anyways.

I bought these boots as gift to myself. I've never owned a pair of Timberlands but I certainly knew of them due to brand recognition. Apparently this recognition is undeserved. Within a couple months very light use (running errands) the tongues began to separate. I have never used these boots for any type of hiking. After reading reviews, it appears a number of other customers of having this same issue. Quality of this boot is very poor.

I highly recommend that you do NOT buy these boots...don't be fooled just because they look good...you have been warned. I bought these about 3-4 months ago and only wear them around my office. I alternate between these and a pair of leather driving shoes (other brand). Not only did I have those leather loafers for much longer, but do you believe the back of my heel is already separating from the Timberland boot, what a joke! I haven't even done any type of extreme activity in them, not to mention they were more expensive. Funny how a pair of leather loafers turned out to be way more rugged then these Earthkeepers, I will never buy another pair again! I will upload a picture so you can see. Keep in mind when you walk, the gap gets bigger and you can almost trip because of it.

I had these boots a month and the thread that is holding the tongue is unraveling.

Tongue separated from boot on both shoes after 2 months of moderate city use.

This boot just isn't durable. It's a very rugged stylish boot, but outside of its good appearance, the boot isn't durable at all. I've have these boots for about 16 months now, there's now a hole in the bottom of the shoe, and the bottom rubber is begging to separate. I bought them for work (I do a bit of walking around construction sites) and hoped they'd be durable walking on rocky terrain, but no luck. Timberland isn't as durable as they advertise. I have 2 other pairs of classic tims (1 is 2yrs old, the other is about 4yrs old) that separated at the bottom as well. Buy for style but not for work....

These are a HORRIFIC pair of shoes! The shoe literally falls apart within a short amount of time - the stitching, tongue of the shoes, and especially the sole! My husband loved the look and feel of them; however, he noticed immediately how faulty these shoes are. He takes very good care of his shoes yet they still would not uphold. 10/10 I most definitely do not recommend these pair. Does Zappos offer a return on fault shoes even if they are worn?

My husband ordered these boots in two sizes and kept the larger size. He sent back the smaller size and within a few days Timberland sent them back to him saying they wouldn't take them back because the leather was too scuffed. Since he kept the larger size it was clear the returned size was too small and it's not like he was trying to scam them. They were never worn and any scuffs on the leather were from the packaging. After contacting their customer service he had to send them several pictures and now he had to send them to their warranty group, which apparently is a 4 week process, where they will decide if they will take the boots back. As a big shopper myself and having dealt with so so many brands, both high and low end, I cannot believe the absurdity of this and how poor this customer service is. The boots were clearly not worn, there is absolutely no scuffing or wearing on the soles and just some small scratches on the leather based on the packaging. I have never had anything questioned before and honestly mostbrands would take something back even if it had been worn and there was an issue with it. It's a shame because my husband loves Timberland boots and has been wearing them for years but we will never shop here again and will let friends know about the poor experience.

These boots are at least 1 full size larger than the actual size they should be. If not a full size and a half. All I want is consistent sizing. I love the style but because I wear a smaller size there are none that will fit me.

I ordered these shoes in black and wheat and got them in the mail yesterday, and they were FAKE!! I could not believe it. I have real Timberland boots purchased from Champs. If you look at the images, it is extremely obvious they are fake; I knew the second I took them out of the box. I will never buy shoes off of this site again. I don't know if this site is a scam and not the real timberland site or what happened.

A quality product but the picture does not look anything like the actual boot. The picture shows a lighter brown "rustic" color while the actual boot is very dark almost black in color.

A week after purchasing a pair of these the stitching split. I returned them and got a new pair, but in a week and a half the stitching had begun to unravel on a different part of the shoe. I really like these shoes, but I feel like I paid enough for them to last longer than a week.

5 months into wearing these barely once a week the soles started coming apart; clearly pretty poor manufacturing. Very disappo

Have owned them for 2-months (moderate use as walking boots in the city) and they are already falling apart. Outer sole is detaching from middle sole, heel is coming apart, and stitching is popping out. They look great but the quality is terrible. I would not buy these again.

Yes, this boots look great. I liked them a lot through the first months I had them. But after a year and a half, they are totally worn out. Stitches in several parts of the boots are worn out and the unions between the leather and the sole are already torn in different spots. And this is not from tough outdoor usage, just from normal urban usage. Of course, consumer service at Timberland told me "there's nothing we can do" when I called asking about it. Bottom line, now I know I should shop Timberland for style, not for quality and durability.

Although the boots arrived in the promised time, they were damaged. Customer service could not exchange them. Instead, we were told to return them for a refund and order a new pair. This was disappointing because they were originally purchased on sale.

Giant scratch on the front of the boot. Also, bought "Youth" boots for 12 year old girl. They make them unisex so they were too wide for a girl.

For a waterproof boot, my feet have never been wetter. I sent them back for a refund because that cannot be how this boot was designed. I must have gotten an ill made pair.

Like many reviews here. I love these boots, but unfortunately have had to buy two pairs in the last two years (I only wear them two months out of the year) because the soles just flake away after a month or so. I cannot justify buying a third pair now, so I am looking elsewhere this time. For this price they should last at least two years of low to moderate wear. Shame, because these are super comfortable and look awesome.
