These are super cute, but not at all comfortable. The heel cup digs into my Achilles so bad, and the shoe bed isn’t particularly cushiony. I can’t wear them if there’s going to be any amount of walking. Maybe after considerable breaking in, but I can’t imagine even getting to that point because I just don’t want to wear them and make the effort. Wish I could return them but I’ve worn them outside too much.

Great color for spring! Not the most comfortable shoes- especially the back rise- I got blisters from the rubbing on the back of my ankle. I'm usually a 10 and had to size up to a 10.5

Right shoe was too large. Felt too off

I like the shoes but my left big toe was jamming the front inside of the shoe. Also I am used to a little more padding in my shoes and these felt hard.

Really comfortable, but the soles squeaked on our flooring.

Disappointed. Expected higher quality from New Balance. These felt poorly constructed with flimsy material. Not soft or cushiony like my other New Balance purchases. Not supportive. Returning these.

This is not safety shoes.

Size was great but the shoes were so dull they were nearly black and the suede looked like it had all balled up. Totally different than my other two 574s. As always Zappos is great about returns. I think this batch of 574s are hit and miss...

Very uncomfortable. Run small

The shoe was way too wide for being a Medium width. I think it was a men's shoe not a women's shoe, the heel was also too wide.

I sized up a half size based on reviews for this shoe and others on this website overall. I normally wear a women's 8 and I ordered an 8.5. Unfortunately, they were still to small. My toes hit the front so I will be returning them. If you are buying these I recommend going up a full size! Seems 90% of the shoes on this website have sizing issues. I'm not sure why. This is the first time I have purchased on this site and will be the last. I'm not going to buy and return multiple pairs of shoes to find my size because the sizing is inaccurate. The shoes are comfy and very cute otherwise. Arrived quickly with tracking.

New balance shoe sizes run 1size larger than normal brand shoes. The soles of these shoes are super squeaky and u comfortable to walk in.

I had been wearing the 608 cross trainers for more than 10 years at the recommendation of a foot doctor - and I have never found a shoe as comfortable as those. I bought this U574v2 when I could not find the 608. This shoe was as uncomfortable as wearing shoes made from cardboard. After trying to walk in them twice for only a few minutes, I gave them away.

I have other 574s in this same size and these are at least a size too small. I don’t know if they’ve been mislabeled or what. Also, the quality of this version is sub par compared to my others. They look very cheaply made and the insole was not as cushiony.

This is a men’s shoe. Don’t be fooled they put it under woman’s. It fits different. Men ans woman’s shoes are different this shoe is wide. Shame on new balance and Zappos.

I am not sure, I ordered this shoe twice and kept receiving the incorrect shoe. Worst customer service I have every experienced.

The shoe was short for the size. Not only did it feel small, but the insoles in both shoes refused to lie flat.

Stated medium width. But then was marked as D width. D is wide width. I need B width, D is not medium. I am returning it. The other pair I got a few years ago was a B width and fit great.
