I normally wear 7.5, but 7.5 was too small. Had to return

I like these boots a lot. They are warm, waterproof and stylish which are the main things I was looking for. They are comfortable for my foot but run a bit narrow compared to other boots I own as other reviews have stated; would have loved it if they were a tad wider. I am normally a 7.5 and sized up to an 8 per other reviews I read and the 8's fit perfectly (though a tad snug with thick wool socks). Overall I am happy with them.

I ordered a half size up because I read that these boots run a little small. I gave it 4 stars because they are a bit narrow on my feet & I do not have wide feet. I walk about 3 miles a day & they are very comfortable & warm.

Great boot, toe box on right boot runs a bit narrower than the left but seems to have relaxed a bit with a few outings and doesn't feel like an issue as it did on the first two outings with them. I personally have narrow feet so ordering a 1/2 size up might be prudent for some. Overall, very well constructed, water resistant and as described.

I ordered my third Sorel winter boots. Previews 2 boots were size 7 . My regular size is 7.5. I followed old Sorel size then, This new boots were too tight... I had to follow the review that said true the size.. This was sale price so, I just return it.

Extremely comfortable! Fit on the small side, so I'd order a half-full size up.

I have been buying Sorel's Whitney IIs for years -- YEARS -- and I love them. However, due to what I assume is shoddy manufacturing processes, my size in these boots is now a 6.5 despite my foot being the same size since I was in middle school. (I'm 42, y'all.) I wear a 5 in Rothys and Birdies. I wear a 5.5 in Keds and Cole Haan oxford sneakers with light socks. I used to wear a 6 in Sorel Whitney IIs with heavy socks. Now, it's a 6.5 with normal light cushion Stance midcalf running socks. So, despite my love for this shoe's comfort (perfect for winter dog walks) and sporty style, I have docked a star. Also, please note these shoes are not waterproof. They are "made of waterproof materials," but, because they are not seam-sealed, they are not waterproof AT ALL. Your feet will get wet walking through dewy grass when the dew wicks through the unsealed seams. Sorel uses tricky language to make you think you're getting something you're not, so buyer be ware. And I docked another star for that.

These seemed to be an ok width but were short in the toe box. Not as cute as other Sorels that I've tried or own.

These are lightweight, comfortable, and stylish, but after only four wears there is a rip in the side of the boot.

Cute look but uncomfortably narrow in the toe area and I don't have wide feet. Had this issue with these boots 4 yrs ago and apparently they haven't changed the style of the footbed since.

What is up with the sizing, Sorel? These were so cozy and I sized up from my usual 9 to a 9.5, as I did in the Out and About style, but my toes were nearly at the end of the shoe. Hoping a Size 10 fits! They are very lightweight and comfortable otherwise and love the casual vibe and waterproof properties.

I bought these 2 months ago and finally used them yesterday. I regret throwing out the box as they are not waterproof. 5 minutes in the snow with them and my feet felt as if they covered by a wet diaper. My toes were soaked and the material made my feet heavy.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 in Sorel, but this boot was really tight with no socks. So, I returned and ordered a 9. It fits in length but is narrow and I have skinny feet. Not sure why the fit in this style fits so weird.

These are a fairly nice, comfortable boot. I can't speak to how warm they'll be, but my issue is more with the shape and length of the toe box. I didn't know most women have feet shaped like long narrow skis. Sizing up just seems to make things longer and not any wider. Sorel - PLEASE START MAKING WIDE WIDTH SHOES AND BOOTS! No one wants cramped toes.

Something about these shoes was off, it made my ankles roll in so bad i couldn't even walk in them. Not sure if the pair I got was defective, but i'll be returning them and not sure I'll try another shoe from this brand because of this.

Women's Whitney II Short Lace Boot. I am sadly returning these boots. The insole has a heel and I found that very uncomfortable. After wearing in the house for a few hours my toes started hurting. I put on some SmartWool socks and slipped on the boots to test out the warmth but, I didn't get the warmth I was expecting - in fact - my feet were cold. The boots are easy to put on so that's a plus. I also liked the color and style. I was really hoping they'd be comfy and warm - but - for me they just didn't pass the test.

The pair I received seemed tiny. Even though I sized up based on Amazon reviews, the toe area was so narrow it would have crushed my toes. Sad to have to return them as they are really good looking, but the comfort was very poor.

They felt way too tight and I was wearing thin socks when I put them on. I would normally wear thicker socks for hiking. I also normally wear a 10 but ordered an 11 because of reviews I read.

I own 2 pairs of Sorel boots in 8.5 and they fit great. These were a half size too small and very narrow. I could barely get my foot in this boot. The heel also feels very weird.

These run small and narrow. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 but the 8.5s are still a little small and have not held up well. They are also not waterproof, they don't hold up to trudging around in wet snow or in fall and spring slush. Pretty disappointing showing from sorel.

I sized up based on reviews and these real still so incredibly small. I do not have wide feet but these boots are SOOOO narrow. They literally only fit without socks which obviously doesn't make sense to not wear socks in the winter. The quality and look is great, but will unfortunately have to return these as they are not at all comfortable.

Light snow, light rain, walking through wet grass, each time my socks ended up very wet. Truly disappointed. The happened with a dark pair I ordered too
