I bought and returned numerous shoes to take to Iceland in Dec and these are the ones that I kept. They fit true to size and were so warm. I wore them with compression sock only and my feet stayed toasty in -5C, even standing on a frozen lake.

I am a 9, and the size 9.5 that I sized up to was too large even with thick socks, so I would stick true to your normal size. The boot itself is not stiff, but more like a very sturdy slipper, which is not what I was looking for. I cannot see these lasting me even a single season, so unfortunately they are going back. They are super comfortable, but when I buy a boot because it is waterproof, I want to feel like it can actually withstand water, or even regular use.

I normally wear a 9.5, but ordered a 10 to make sure I could wear winter socks with these boots. They fit perfectly and are SO comfortable! The leather/fabric is soft and flexible; the lining is fuzzy/cozy and warm; the soles are thick and soft with great traction for the snow! No breaking in needed with these comfortable and casual boots!

Love the boots and the shearling inside the boots, unfortunately it makes them smaller, I sized up from my normal size 9 to a 10. Now they fit perfectly, even with thick socks.

I have sensitive feet and now require a wide toe box for my bunion. And I have orthotics to put in. I have a narrow heel. These boots have been very accommodating to my poor feet! Feel great. Look great. I did order one full size up and it gave me enough room in the toe box. And I can wear wool sox, too!

I have a wider foot so I opted for a half size up and I’m glad I did, they fit perfectly. They are VERY comfortable to walk around in and incredibly warm; I am not easy to please in the warmth category and these far exceeded my expectations. Also very stylish so I don’t feel like I’m wearing big chunky boots to run errands. Highly recommend

I love Sorel because they keep your feet so dry and snuggy. I've walked through deep ice puddles in Sorel and have stayed dry. The fit on these is weird though. I typically wear an 8 shoe and after reading reviews on the Sorel website, I order an 8.5 from Sorel. My toe hit the front a little, which is a feeling no one is crazy about. I decided to order a size 9 from Zappos because I learned I had to pay a return shipping fee to Sorel, which isn't really fair when the issue is an inaccurate shoe size (thank you for your great policy Zappos). However, when I got the new pair, while the size 9 was a little wider, my toe still hit the front in the exact same way! I cut my toenails and retried the 8 because the 9 was too wide and there's no sense in keeping it. My toe still hits with the 8 but I think it will be tolerable so I may keep the smaller size and just deal with it. Hey Zappos, when did you stop including top down pictures of the shoes? I used to love all the different views and no top down picture is a bit of a deal breaker for me since that's the view I care about most. I have no interest in what the bottom of the shoe looks like!

The shoes fit in terms of overall size, so going up or down wouldn't fix the problem... The proportions were off for me. Toe box was not wide enough, and the arch support just wasn't enough. Bit of a struggle getting them on too.

I purchased this shoe in three different sizes until I got the right fit! I normally wear an 8 and purchased it in an 8 and my toes were right up against the tips of the shoes. I couldn’t get an 8.5 because they were out of stock so I tried the 9 and it was a smidge large. I was finally able to get the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. They are so soft and warm. I can’t wait until fall to wear them. Definitely size up 1/2 size, or a full size if you’re planning on wearing very thick socks.

These are so soft and warm! I haven’t tested if they’re waterproof, but they definitely keep your feet warm during winter months. They run slightly narrow, so they’re difficult to wear with thick socks. I usually wear an 8.5 in tennis shoes/boots and that’s what I ordered. They fit perfect!

I love this shoe. It’s the most versatile boot I own. It goes with everything. It doesn’t make me look like I have duck feet like Uggs do but they do have the same concept. Very comfortable and very warm

I LOVE these boots. They are warm, comfortable, and can be worn with or without socks. I subbed out the laces for stretchy elastic ones from Amazon so I can slide them on and off easily. I didn’t expect it but I’ve received compliments on these shoes! I’m normally a 10.5-11, got an 11 and they fit well with and without socks. Just love them.

It took some determination but I finally got it right. I’m a solid size 9 in athletic shoes. I can possibly go to 9.5 if the toe box runs a bit narrow. I don’t have wide feet but I tend to look for wide width as I have a Morton’s Neuroma with my left foot. My toes must have room. I purchased a 9.5 of this shoe. It was a perfect fit in length which was not good as I wanted room for a thicker sock. The width was not enough for my left foot. So, I exchanged for a 10. Perfection. I love the shoe!

Not much for arch support. Sized up 1/2 size for the perfect fit. My feet are sweating just trying them in the house There’s not much structure to the boot except for the sole.

L.O.V.E these boots. So warm, great grip on ice, comfortable like tennis shoes. I live in North Dakota & we just had the worst ice storm followed by subzero temps for days...I have worn them for a week straight just to keep my feet warm!

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and I've been wearing them every day since I got them,. Perfect for cold weather. They go great with my jeans or leggings. I did have to size up a full size to find the right fit but its worth it!

For me they are beautiful and the perfect size, I am size 9, they are super comfortable in the cognac color that combines with everything.

Love these boots! They are very comfortable! If you’re in between sizes, I would order up. I am between a 9& 91/2. The 91/2 fit great.

Dressy look for cold wet city weather. The lining makes it a little warm for indoor use, but cozy for outdoors.
