I was looking for a shoe to wear while traveling in the UK which is rainy in the spring. This shoe has a wide toe box which I loved. I wear 6 1/2 but in running shoes I wear a 7. I ordered these in a 7 and it felt a teeny big and definitely wide--Ultimately I returned as I ordered waterproof boots as well. I ended up with the Sorel Kinetic boot.

They fit perfectly, pretty comfortable, my feet weren't wet at all after accidentally walking through an ankle deep puddlesolid shoes

I have somewhat wide feet and these fit well. Haven't worn them out yet but honestly impressed from just wearing around the house. The white of the rubber and the white of the fabric don't match, bothers me slightly but not enough to return.

Uncomfortable. They need an insole.

These are cute shoes. However, they seem super heavy to me compared with my other sneakers. They were also uncomfortable for me, but they would probably work for others with "normal" feet!

I really liked these because of the wider toe box but they still ended up being too small - my big toe rubbed against the end of the shoe. They ended up fitting my daughter, whose feet are smaller, so we did keep them.

I love the color and waterproof nature but my feet do hurt after a day of wearing. I may purchase inserts to soften the insole.

Cute shoe but too small. Couldn't fit a wool sock in, which defeats the purpose of this shoe.

These shoes just felt bigger and wider overall. I was looking for a flexible, fairly lightweight hiking shoe. These just seemed too heavy and big overall for me.

Cute shoe but no arch support. When I added aa different insole the shoe was too tight. I've tried on different types of Sorels in store and found that they vary in size by the type of shoe. A 10.5 was too big in one model and a 10 was too small in another.

Toe section ran a little small or tight or narrow, had to return and get 1/2 size up. Other out and about shoes in my original size 8 fits perfectly. Not sure why these couple years at sorel the sizes run inconsistently w different shoes. Really didn't like having to not be able to count on the size the fits with the same Comoany and doing the return/ exchange hassle. But, once I size up 1/2 size, it's fine. Love the sneakers.

These shoes are pretty comfortable, but man do they make my feet sweat! I just wore thin no show socks with them and my feet were so sweaty. It was a cool evening too. I am Disappointed they are like this. I will have to keep them since I wore them out.

Comfortable and warm. They are a little stiffer than my usual walking shoes (which is why I rated them a 4 instead of 5) but still great for walking the dog after a rain and when I want warm feet. They also look great with leggings and my hiking pants. I would buy these shoes again.

These truly are waterproof! I have worn them several times in the rainy, muddy conditions. The water beads off & the mud hoses right off. My feet are very wide with high arches. I wear a 10W in running shoes, 41 in Danskos & other European shoes, but a 40 in Birkenstocks. I got these in a 10 & were surprised at how wide they are (yay!). I have read other reviews complaining about how stiff these shoes are. I also find them a bit stiff, and the footbeds not as comfortable as some of my other shoes. I will try some different footbeds & see if that helps. I still like them & would recommend them due to their superior water resistance & width.

Great sturdy and comfortable shoe! Perfect for winter. Can wear all day without any problem and my feet picky. The only thing I don't care for is the tongue is pretty short and they hit me at a funny spot on my ankle. Not going to stop me from wearing them!! True to size. I'm pretty much a straight 10. 10 fit me great and I have a wider foot.

I found these shoes to be very comfortable and seemed to be true to size. They are a stiffer shoe than others I've tried but I like the extra support that provides while still being comfortable. The soles were very sturdy. A little noisy and make sort of a swishing sound at times, but it wasn't to the point where it made wearing the shoes annoying.

I just received these and have worn them once. They're cute and very similar in fit/comfort as the Out n About boots. They run about a half size small, have a slightly wide toe bed and no arch support. Don't expect them to have the same comfort as a typical sneaker. They aren't uncomfortable, but I won't be able to wear them on long walks as I'd hoped. I'll more likely wear them as a casual shoe to run errands. If the insole/arch support was better, I'd get a second pair. I like the style and the cute heavy outer sole- so hope Sorel improves the arch support/insole with the next version. Might be nice if they tone down the Sorel label in the back a little bit, too. :)

I wanted to love these black sneakers so much, because they were super cute! I tried an 8 and a 7 1/2. The length of the 7 1/2 was perfect, but something still felt off. I have a narrow heal, and although I need a slightly wider toe area, my foot wanted to slide forward with every step. I'm sure someone will find the to be perfect, but unfortunately these just didn't feel great on my feet.

Sorel has become a favorite brand over the years. Quality is always above par and who doesn't love knowing all their shoes are to some extent waterproof. These are comfortable to wear and give great stability feeling. The downside is they hit weird at the ankle for me. They need to be a little lower on the ankle to keep it from rubbing on the side. Also they aren't the most stylish sneaker but that could be personal preference. Overall a great shoe from a brand that has the reputation to match. You can't go wrong with sorel.

These Sorel womens out and about low top sneakers are visually appealing. I did not consider them to be extremely comfortable, though they weren't uncomfortable either. I just won't wear them on a day I'm on my feet.

The fit and size were average and these shoes were very stylish. The sole of the shoe is rigid which is great for people with arthritis. I have numerous foot issues, fat pad atrophy being my most painful. These shoes are very cushiony despite the rigidity of the sole. The lift in the forefoot helped so much for the first several hours I wore these, but they are so heavy that they killed my knees. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Cute but not exactly what I was expecting. The sizing runs a little big and wide on this shoe and they are not as comfortable as I would have thought for a sneaker.

These Sorels fit pretty well, and were nicely styled but my big toes hit a little bit in the front. I noticed that the size 9 is a 40, and I have Brooks sneakers that fit perfectly in size 9 that are 40.5, so that extra .5 makes a difference. The other feature that didn't win me over was that the lacing had only three holes. This would be fine if you were only wearing the shoes for casual walking downtown, but it won't work for strenuous walking on dirt or trails. Finally, I have to say that though they were comfortable enough, they were not as cushy as I'd like. Soo--back they go.
