I am so sad to be writing this review! I wanted to love these shoes but on first outing breaking them in they nearly broke my feet! I have a pair of hiking boots that I love, but they are not waterproof, so I bought these to play that role and can say they are adequately waterproof and the tread performs well on slippery rocks and mud. However, other reviews claimed these boots were too narrow in the toe and wide in the heel and I am sorry to report this is very true! (Sorel, why are all your toes too narrow? I almost always have to size up because of this and this is a frequent complaint in your reviews). For this shoe I went true to size based on recommendations of other reviewers in an attempt to compensate for the narrow toe/too wide heel. But alas, it was not enough. I took them on an inaugural hike yesterday and have giant blisters on both heels despite wearing my thickest socks. Also, my toes are in a lot of pain from the tightness. They did not instantly feel this way upon donning the shoes, and walking around on level ground felt fine and comfortable. But the faults of this shoe were exacerbated by ups and downs on the trail. I had to cut my hike short due to the pain. Because of the awkward fit, sizing up or down is not an option. I am so sad to be returning these boots. They are beautiful and waterproof and stable on wet ground (which is what I was after), but they are foot destroyers and that is not ok.

These were just ok for me. They are really cute, but they run small. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8. I ordered an 8. I would prob need at least a 9. These are super clunky. More a fashion boot. I was wanting to wear it around Europe if it rained. I don’t think it would be comfortable.

Wanted to love SO BAD. But I ordered both a 9 and 9.5 and both were extremely stiff and I could tell would leave a massive blister on the outside top of my right foot. Sadly, had to send both back but these are GORGEOUS boots. Super bummed.

I wanted to keep these so very badly! They are absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted!! But just like the other reviews... the toe box area was so darn tight. For the price I just wasn't willing to keep them and wish the tightness away, so sadly and begrudgingly I had to return them. Sorel, read the room and make a toe box that is not so narrow and accommodates the norm out here!! Other than that these boots are gorgeous and I was in love.

I really nice hiking boot. A little tight at first but after being broken in they are perfect. I've taken these boots in some pretty rough country. Really waterproof and super stylish. On the heavy side if you're a serious hiker but I really love them.

Oh MY GOSH how I love these boots! I got these in the mail and immediately put them on; I wore them the rest of the day and every day since then that I can find an outfit to wear them with! There was no 'breaking them in' period -- no discomfort or ill fit. And I love the olive/army green. I'm ex-military and am drawn to this shade of green (I have many articles of clothing, both tops and pants in 'army' green/camouflage/olive), so I have been wearing them several days a week. I'm so glad I bought them!!

I love these boots! I hike in the snow, run errands, and go out for dinner in them. The are very comfortable and stylish with the perfect combination of cuteness and sturdiness. They are my new favorites.

I ordered a full size up. Slightly too big. Need extra thick socks. But very comfortable.

I literally never review things that I buy, but these boots are amazing! They're both cute and comfortable! They did require a couple of hours to break in, but after that they were just like wearing comfortable tennis shoes. They're waterproof too, making them perfect for fall and early winter. Other reviews stated that they sized up. I brought my usual size and they fit perfectly. However, if i were going to wear thick wool socks with these boots, I would have wanted them to be a half size bigger. I will very likely buy another pair in a different color. I have a couple of pairs of Sorel snow boots that I also like, but these are perfect in every way! Love them!

These boots are so comfy. The first I wore them, I noticed it was pushing into my leg above my ankle, but after that, it was fine. They provide so much support to your feet while walking and standing all day. Highly recommend!

Amazing boots and comfortable too. I love the gold hardware and light burgundy and white plaid laces. These boots will look great with my fall and winter wardrobe. I'm still waiting to wear them because it's been warm in my area. I'm glad I ordered these early to get my size and color choice. I can highly recommend these boots for style and function.

Ordered these to replace my ratty black boots that I wear everywhere. These are great quality and look awesome! The laces are a bit of a hassle for getting them on/off but totally worth it in my opinion.
The only thing I feel like needs to be said is SIZE UP. I'm in between a 7.5/8, and when reading reviews, most people said they were TTS or to size down, so I went with the 7.5. I can get them on my feet, but they're not comfortable at all, and I certainly wouldn't be able to wear proper hiking socks with them. I'm returning and getting the 8.5.

Not comfortable at first but get better with each wear. I would not use these for a serious, long hike but they are good for the shorter, 5-ish mile hikes I do around LA. SUPER CUTE! I get lots of compliments. Maybe run a little small. I sized up a half size but could have gone full.

These are so cute and seem like they would be comfortable if they didn’t run so small. I normally wear a size 10 in sandals and I go up to size 11 in tennis shoes and boots to give me appropriate room to wear normal socks so that’s the size I ordered in these boots. These feel smaller in length than even a size 10 would! I would say to go up at least a size and a half, maybe even two full sizes, from the size you normally wear in shoes with normal socks. I would love to order a size 12 but my toes are so cramped in the size 11’s I really don’t think the 12’s will even work and the sizes don’t go any higher. I have other Sorel wedge boots that fit perfectly. I don’t know why there’s such a difference between the two styles unless someone completely screwed up in labeling or manufacturing. I wish they fit because they are super cute and exactly what I wanted in terms of style. I am bummed.

I really liked the way these boots looked style-wise, but they did not seem to have the qualities of a $200 boot. Felt a little cheap...Material seemed thin and the insole was kind of flimsy, but the upper was stiff at the same time. Add to that a narrow toe box and I found the fit was not good for me. I was a little disappointed with the quality of a boot from Sorel...

The style of this Lennox has changed significantly from the previous models, which I loved. This one was half a size too big, and the boots were much stiffer, less comfortable.
Disappointed/returned them.

These are my first pair of Sorels and I'm hooked! They're stylish, super comfortable, and are perfect snow shoes. I've worn them hiking in the Rockies and out for date night.

I am so happy with these. I read some reviews that they felt too narrow, but I found the opposite to be true. I had to really yank on the laces to tighten them up so that it didn't feel like my feet were rattling around inside them. Once I did that, and paired with thick socks designed for hiking, my feet were so warm and happy! The soles feel squishy and grippy. I don't feel much in the way of arch support, but I don't need it. They were confidently grippy on wet rocks in the rain. I get lots of compliments on how cute they are too, so I happily wear them with jeans as sort of a fashionable winter sneaker.

FIRST - these are not a hiking boot. It's a "hiker bootie" with good tread and are waterproof for doing some walking along icy spots or in weather - but they're ultimately efficient athleisure boots. Sorel makes awesome winter shoes but these are for casual wear. Please don't wear these for true miles long hiking. Cmon you guys, lol. The reviews with people hiking in them are hilarious. More seriously, they're comfy, really attractive, and will last awhile. A+
