I suggest ordering one half size smaller. These shoes run large.

I loved the look and material of these shoes, exactly what I wanted. I ordered my normal size but these fit much larger - my heel slipped out on both feet and there was an odd gap in the sides. I may try to a half-size smaller.

It's a fun shoe, but quite big. I would go half a size smaller. The leather is a bit stiff; the seams are kind of hard, but that is normal for this kind of leather.

The front top flap has a visible defect,shoes are stiff, too narrow, came without original box. Pretty and soft but had to return due to comfort and the defect

I really liked the loafers, but, as others said, the toe box is narrow compared to the rest of the shoe. I did not have any problems with gaping at the sides. I have flat feet, so maybe that's why. I returned them.

Thought that the vanilla would be the same suede-like material as the grey/taupe, but it’s more leather-like. Seemed like would be comfortable but just wasn’t into the material so returning.

loved the style fit was ok - too tight with anything but a thin sock and then my right foot kept lifting out of the shoe when I walked - so sorry to say that this won't do.

Fit ok, but the depth of back of shoe wasn't deep enough and keep slipping off my heal.

This is a great looking loafer. I normally wear a 9 1/2. This 9 1/2 feels a bit loose but a 9 would have been too small. They do gap some on the sides while walking but nothing significant. I’m keeping them as I can probably find a thicker footie to wear with them

I appreciated the quality soles on these shoes. Overall they were narrow in the toe box and wide in the heel. I tried on the 7, which fell off my feet, but were too narrow in the toe. Then I tried the 6.5, which was better, but they still gapped on the sides near my ankle and slipped off a bit. My search brought these up as having a removeable insole, but not really. I could remove these, but they are glued in. I was hoping for something that was easily removable like Vionic or Taos has. I'm not sure whether a heel pad would even fix the gapping, so I'm returning them.

Beautiful shoe. Well made. However, I sent back because there was a gap on the outer portion that made it too wide and it slipped off my heel - even after I tried some various inserts. A smaller size would not have fixed the problem. I was bummed because it’s exactly what I was looking for and overall well made and comfortable.

The shoe is true to size. The toe box was a little narrow, but probably would have stretched a bit over time. I have a narrow foot, for reference. The inner sole is quite comfortable, with a soft suede material that could have attributed to all the slippage I had. There was also a good deal of gaping around the sides of the feet, and a lot of heel slip occurred once I actually wore them.

Cheaply made. The leather is tissue-thin and tore after the first wearing during a holiday party. I will never buy Rockport again.

Zero arch support! The footbed is not removable so you can't even use a better insert.
