Are Eccos getting smaller, or are my feet getting bigger? These were too short and narrow. I recently bought two pairs of Ecco sneakers in the same size as these and they fit perfectly. I think the Biom line runs small. I checked out the look in the mirror and they just looked like normal sneakers. not all that sporty. Nothing special about the support either, whereas, the Biom's I've gotten in the past provided outstanding support. Disappointing, but I'd like to say that Zappos is THE BEST online retailer! I will always see if Zappos sells something first: Speed of light shipping and easy, fast refunds. Thank You!

This definitely runs small, so order a half to a full size up, especially if your feet are wide. For the Biom line, I thought the support was just okay. I wasn't impressed with the style enough to want to order a larger size.

I have bilateral Morton's Neuromas and finding shoes that are comfortable is a real challenge. I bought my first pair of these last Fall in Dublin and walked 2-7 miles a day for many weeks. That they are Gortex is a real plus as well. I admit, ECCO sizing can be a little crazy. I typically wear a US 7.5 and in this shoe EU 38. I now have bought a second pair to take back to Europe.

I always see ECCO get 4 or less stars. They are a European shoe and I admit that their sizing can vary. Given that, if they fit, they are great. This is the second pair of these I have bought. First, I spent a lot of time in Europe and walk an average of 2-7 miles a day. In countries that are pretty rainy, these are Gortex and have a great sole that grips. So instead of wearing bulky waterproof hiking boots ( screams TOURISt) on rainy days, I can wear these and fit right in. Even after a 7+ mile day, my feet feel good. But again, you need to take each ECCO style on its own for sizing. An EU of 38 can be a 7-8 or an 7.5-8. I tend to buy via EU sizing.

One shoe was damaged. The rigid area near the outside arch was caved in, probably during manufacturing. I am not willing to accept it. They look amazing! Very stylish, but snug. No room for swelling or thicker socks. Returned.
