This is a great shoe to commute in the winter months. I would only wear these when the snow has been cleared though. I had to turn to my heavy duty snow boots for Chicago snowfall. However these are my go to shoes the rest of the cold winter days. They keep my feet warm and are very comfortable to wear while commuting.

This boots seems to fit true to size. The seam inside the boot rubbed on the top of one of my feet making it uncomfortable. I am returning for a half size up to see if that fixes the issue, or just purchasing a new style. Not sure it will withstand negative temps, but perfect for running errands.

These boots are warm & cozy but do not have the zipper on the side. A little harder to get on and off. I kept them because of the fit when they are on.

This boot is beautiful. My normal boot size is 9 so I ordered the 9. My previous Sperry rain boots were a size 9 and fit a little big but still comfy. These boots were tight on my foot and I don't think sizing up to a 9.5 would have helped, it was the rubber part that was too tight. Maybe a little too tight width wise? I couldn't tell, all I know is they fit a little snug for a size 9. I just don't think they work for my feet.

They look great and feel great but seem to run a little but small but not much.

I ordered my boots online which was a smooth process. Once they came it was obvious they were well made. They fit just a tad bigger than a true size but with thicker socks, they are just fine. The boots are very comfortable and are fairly easy to get off and on. I would have rated these a five but they're a little slippery when you walk. This seems to have diminished as I wear them.

I really like these a lot. The leather is nice and I like how the rubber isn't shiny. I ordered my usual shoe size, 9. And they were huge. I tried on diff Sperry duck boots at DSW to get an idea of what size I'd need and an 8 is perfect. Will be reordering.

These boots are very cute and so so warm! I loved that they are insulated. One thing that I was disappointed with is that after having them for about 3 weeks, the leather string had broken a piece off when I went to tie them. I also wish that the rubber part of the boot was stronger so that it is easier to put on.

I bought the winter version of these boots because I loved their duck boot rain boots so much. They're cute and as comfortable, but not as warm as I'd hoped they would be.

I bought these boots less than three weeks ago and I'm a bit disappointed. I've only worn them a few times and one of the laces already broke. These boots will keep your feet dry, but if you walk through snow you will feel the cold. I think the Thinsulate must only be in the shaft of the boot, so plan on wearing warm socks to keep your toes warm!

Shoes difficult to get on. The interior is warm and soft, but it also makes the shoe size run a bit small (for context, I have a pair of the regular sperry duck boots in the same size as my pair of these boots and the fit is much more snug with these boots).

I was really excited to get a warm boot that I can wear during the slushy, unpredictable Michigan's winters and springs. However, there is an uncomfortable seam on the back of my ankle where the thinsulate awkwardly ends. Also after only a handful of years my laces are already starting to shread. They do have a great look and keep my feet warm but I expected more comfort and durability for the price.

I was really hoping these would work out. I haven't worn this style since college, so I thought it would be ok. The foot part fit well with socks, but the ankle and lace up areas were uncomfortable to take steps. Guess I'm just not used to having that much pressure on my ankle area. My legs and ankles are slim, so perhaps that's part of the issue. Sad to send these back.

To tight and small my foot and I wear a size 11. But the style was great

Tried these in a 7.5 in a store, and they were too big and long, ordered my usual size 7. Boots were plenty wide, and had room left at the toe, but even with my thinnest socks (thinner than just tights) they pressed on the top of my foot where my instep is. I would love to be able to wear these, but walking for any amount of time in them would be extremely uncomfortable. Had to return. Also had to provide my own box for return, since they came in a non-reusable bag, plus wait in line at the post office during the holidays (return label was USPS).

The laces are terrible. I've worn them a couple times and the lace snapped. Also the leather in the front bunches weird. Super disappointed.

I am one of Sperry's biggest fans and these are disappointing. I bought the black base with white leather boot at the end of December or beginning of January. I have three other pairs of Sperry boots and bought my older daughter three Different pairs of Sperry boots for Xmas- and one additional pair for my younger daughter. I have at least 20 pair of Sperry shoes but am the biggest fan of the no tie and the zipper so I never should have given these a chance but I liked how they looked. They don't have the zipper like most all of the other Sperry winter boots and that's the feature I like the most on all the other pairs.. The ties come undone constantly and l slipped in these. So as much as I love Sperrythese are cute but not practical. Bummer because they were not cheap!

I bought these boots in November and liked them at first. However, in snow and ice they are very slippery and somehow water is getting into my boots. My socks and the inner part of the boot where the toes go are wet after walking in snow. That's unacceptable for a new pair of "waterproof" boots.

I bought 2 pairs of these boots -- one for me and one for my mom for her birthday gift. I was initially very happy with them -- they are cute and comfortable. I've used them once while it was raining outside and was surprised by how slippery they are. I slipped twice simply getting on and off the train. My mom also mentioned that she had slipped on a wet floor with them. I can only imagine how slippery they will be when it snows. So much for max traction! Now I'm stuck with a useless pair of boots. Look elsewhere for winter boots.

I have waited over two years to purchase me a pair of Sperry boots because they are so expensive I finally got the money to be able to purchase a pair and this is probably the worst pair shoes I've ever purchased in my life they are not waterproof or water resistant my feet are soaking wet also the shoes have stained my feet black and yes I have pictures I am beyond upset I don't even want another pair I want my money back in addition this is the only pair of shoes that I have so I'm having to continue wearing them while they're dying my feet black and allowing my view to be wet when it is 19 in Hendersonville Tennessee where I live I am a very unsatisfied customer that is way too much money to spend on a pair of shoes to have them not even be water resistant in addition I have them dying my feet black I cannot even get the black off my feet I had to buy special soap still can't get it off and it's meant for mechanics to get grease off of their hands it's not working in addition to the amount of sucks that it's raining in addition to the fact I've had to wear wet shoes every day because this is the only pair of shoes I have for work because I spent all of my money on these shoes beyond unsatisfied customer!!
