The shoe/boot is well constructed, good looking and with the add of a pair of “superfeet” inserts, has just the right amount of arch support for me. Zappos, fulfilled the order in its usual way; fast, secure and without fanfare. Excellent job all round.

Good fit and finish are what one would expect, and receive, from Florsheim. The lining is Suedetec which is good, though I have older shoes with a leather lining and I would give a slight edge to a leather lining. These boots share visual features to an older boot style, Sorrento, which is great. The design of the toe box is more round versus my Sorrento's, so does it not seem as classy. If Florsheim would remake the older Sorrento boots (I believe they discontinued them about 4-5yrs ago). I would certainly buy the Sorrentos (wink, wink - how many does it take for you reinstate the line). In light of my love for the older Sorrento's, the Rucci chukka boots seem a worthy successor and I do plan to purchase a brown pair.
