The bad: Run small. DO NOT order your current size or you'll be sorry. I'm a true 8 in women's and my toes hurt from being smashed in the front of this shoe. Due to the convenient return policy that states if there's any wear or creases on the shoe you can't return them without them discounting for said wear, AFTER they say it takes 3 to 5 days to break them in... poor return policy there. The good: They're VERY well made, stylish, and the soles are comfy too. Just not the 'toe' area. You won't be disappointed if you order 1/2 size up. My shoes feel like they're a size 7.5 when I wear an 8. I should have ordered an 8.5. Don't second guess yourself, just go the 1/2 size up! I'm leaving a 5 star rating because the shoe itself is fantastic, if it was sized to my foot properly!

I was happily surprised on how comfortable it was to walk in these boots for day one. I might have taken it a bit too far. I ended up walking 10 miles around the yard that day. I got a blister, but that wasnt surprising- as any new pair of boots needs a break-in period. I enjoyed being able to match up Xena boots with some slim-leg Carhartts, and a button down shirt. I loved how much traction I got and I was lookin/feeling good the whole day. I will continue to wear my Xenas and I cant wait to get some more styles.

I purchased the cognac color. They got my order to the post quickly and the boots were packaged with care. They are actually more comfortable than I was anticipating given that I had seen several warnings on the site as to the break in period, I haven't had much issue with this at all aside from one issue comfort wise. Where the shoe ends around my ankle it is constantly hitting the underside of my ankle causing a bit of soreness. I imagine the leather will soften over time and the soreness itself is just a mild inconvenience rather than anything offensive. Other than that they are very comfortable to walk and move around in. I have had them and worn them for about a week now - save the weekends.

These are very comfortable and stylish. They work great with a suit. So much better than your standard safety shoes. Im very pleased with them.

I work in an office setting but have to go out onto the plant floor quite often. These shoes are 100% worth every penny. They look great with my dress pants and are SO comfortable. I accidentally wore them home last week!

Was looking for a steel toed boot that would look nice with my dress clothes. I dont visit construction sites often, but recently on contractor has become more strict on shoe requirements. I found the Xena boots and loved the way they looked. Shipping was fast and the boots not only look good with my dress clothes they are really comfortable to wear. You almost forget you have steel toed boots on.

AH I love these booths! They're so soft, look professional, and wear well all day long, even after walking miles across a warehouse floor or a jobsite. I am a tall girl with big feet (typically a size 13) so I have been long awaiting the switch from my bulky, men's cowboy-boot style safety boots to something that looks a little more feminine.. and frankly much safer to move around in when I'm stepping through rebar cages and debris on the jobsite. I do recommend wearing cushy socks because the heel height, while comfortable, puts a little extra pressure on your toes in the steel-toe. Can't believe there's finally a women's 13 in a safety-shoe that looks this good. Thank you, Xena!

I absolutely love my new safety toe shoes. I've gotten so many compliments on them and it took me so long to find attractive and stylish safety toe boots to wear to work! I originally ordered my regular size but the return process was easy and fast and I got my new, perfectly fitting boots in a hurry! Thank you so much! I love these shoes I have gotten so many compliments. They are sturdy and chic at the same time as a manager I needed a more professional work boots and I found these. I love that it comes in wide. I just wished they came with out the steel toe option as well. It took a couple of days to break them in and my only problem was actually getting my foot inside I have wide feet and ordered the wide so in the initial try on it was hard to get my foot inside but once I did it for great and with the leather it's adapting

PERFECT SHOES! I cant get over how amazing these look and feel! I work as an accountant at a paper mill, so while I spend a majority of my time in the office, I do need to make daily trips to the mill area to pick up required paperwork. I hate always needing to switch between shoes, so these were so perfect since they fit for whatever I needed to do. Customer service was amazing as well! They even sent me really nice email with instructions on how to care for my shoes!

Thank You!! My company has wanted me to get safety shoes for sometime. I couldn't find any that I liked, looked good and for that matter fit my 10 1/2 sized (1/2 size up) feet. You've done the impossible, I love you and your company. These boots are cute as all get out, they polish up real well and are as tough as a two dollar steak. My girl fiends love these and even the guys like them, on the 2nd day I wore them, I got a compliment from a guy walking past me to his motorcycle. As for the boots, they cover the bases wonderfully. Steel toe, anti static and anti slip, everything my company wants. The fit? I've worked in them daily for a week now and I love them. I got a 1/2 size up like the website says and I can work all day in clinical and hospital settings in these and still want to wear them out at night or even while not at work. They look that good. I'm going to get the brown next and even the new Blazer is going to get a look.

My new job asked for steel toe and slip resistant footwear and Id just stumbled across Xena the week before so I excitedly ordered a pair because I wanted shoes Id love wearing. Its only been a week but I love them. Theyre comfortable, functional, and look amazing.

Wowza. All I can as is how much I love these shoes. For being steel toe, I was not expecting a comfortable shoe...but I was wrong! After the 3 day breaking in period these are wonderful! A ton of compliments and questions if they really were safety shoes. Order up 1/2 a size and they will be your favorite shoe in no time! Two other female coworkers are already planning on getting them too. Highly recommended!!

These shoes are absolutely amazing. I read the reviews of countless others singing their praise and they were RIGHT! They not only serve the purpose of my "ugly" work boots, but look great so I can be dressed professionally too. I'm already planning to purchase another pair. If you're on the fence, take a chance, because these are worth it!

These shoes are a perfect blend of comfortable, functional, and beautiful! I have loved switching to these after wearing clunky work boots for the past two years at work.

This is the second pair I've purchased. It's the most comfortable steel-toe boot I've owned. It's not too heavy or bulky. Perfect for the office and tough enough for production.

Great look amd style but the slip resistance is surely lacking. Tad too tight on my right foot toe area even though I ordered 1/2 s8ze bigger as recommended. But i can't use for work due to the slip hazard that is still present in wet areas. Lot of money for safety shoes that's one of the main functions needed and it doesn't pass that test.

full endorsement! These are incredibly comfortable. After a week about the interior of the shoe is soft and molded to my feet. Even days I dont need full functionality of the steel toe I have been choosing these to wear. They look cute with my skinny jeans as well as cropped slacks. If these didnt have the safety component they would be beautiful premium footwear on their own, absolutely worth the price. For sizing: I have wide feet and an extremely high instep. so much so that I cannot wear any slip on style shoes or boots without a zipper. I was nervous about these since sizing recommendations are go to up a full size, that would have put me at a 9.5 which I assumed would be way to long. I went one size up and the fit is great. I have been wearing them without socks or with very thing liners (im in CA). If I needed to wear thicker socks in a wintery climate the 9.5 might have been necessary.
