Love these shoes and will be a forever customer for my son! These shoes look natural with his AFO's and do not make his feet look awkwardly wide. They are lightweight, which help him balance his tone and do not increase scissoring. With that comes durablity issues with the canvas, had a hole in the toe along the zipper within a month but was refunded. I purchased 2 more pairs right away, hoping for longer wear and willing to take my chances because of the independence these shoes give my son. The Billy's alleviate the struggle of trying to make regular shoes work for very wide feet plus the required AFO's. Unfortunately daily wear and tear is just part of the game for my son. Suggestions would be more color choices(camo), a leather version, and/or style choice in Kids WDR.

My 8 year old son wears AFOs and I've always had trouble finding shoes that fit him. These BILLY shoes were perfect. And, due to my son's sensory processing disorder, I am so happy they have the shoes in one solid color. He hates logos and prints on his shoes, so it was easy to get him to wear these shoes.

We love Billy's WDR Hightops! They accommodate my son's SMO's perfectly! We had previously tried the Nike Flyease shoes but I felt like we really had to cram his foot in those tp make them work. With Billy's we simply set his foot down inside of them and zip. Added to it, Billy's stands by their product. If you have any issues within 90 days of your purchase they will make it right. As a parent of a very active three year old I do recommend requesting the special glue modification to reinforce the stitching on the zipper.

I am so thankful to your company for making these shoes. The fit perfectly on my grandson with his braces. Truly a blessing!!!!

Great looking quality shoe but we ordered the wrong size. I wish the size wide came in other colors. It also seems there are more girl patterns than boys. Easy on and off.

So much faster and easier to get him ready to go.

We love our "easy shoes!" We used to struggle to get shoes on over my son's AFO's (leg braces), often being late to events and appointments, but not with Billy shoes that zip over his AFO's. And the newest style that is wider fits even better. Thanks, Billy Shoes!!!

Great shoes for people who wear AFO braces. The zipper makes it a lot easier getting your foot in and out!

These shoes fit like butter! My ankles curve in like a hook and the width gave me nice support along with the high rise design! The zipper made it easily accessible as well. These are my new favorite shoes! I can't wait to purchase more.

These BILLY classic WDR are perfect for my 6yr old son. Putting on SMO's takes time so when he puts on his WDR tops; his SMO's just glide in perfectly. His ready to conquer the world! Thank you for these awesome shoes! I do wish kids size 5,6 were in stock!

I live in Switzerland and I didn't find anything like this for my kid. Got the reference from an Argentinian mother living in Spain. The shoes arrived quickly and I'm more than happy with function, design and quality!

My child has left sided hemiplasia and wears a brace on her left foot. Putting shoes on with the brace has always been a hassle, but with the Billy shoes its a "piece of cake". I will definitely be buying more.

These are so cute and great quality! My girl has Spina Bifida and wears braces. These sneakers go easily on and off with her braces and she says their comfortable. Billy needs to get more colors and designs in the wide sizes. Lots of kids need these!

These shoes work great with or without braces. My son curls his toes due to spasticity. These shoes allow us to see his toes for positioning them properly. They are so easy to put on over braces too!

These shoes are so easy to fit over AFOs! They're just not exactly wide enough in the sizes I initially purchased. I will try another size up or two.

My daughter is really happy with this shoes .fit great no problem with the size and she doesn't complain about pain on her feet. We are going to keep buying this shoes for her

My mother's loved these shoes, the zipper make them much easier for her to get on.

There a very creative design and the way the zipper allows you to open the shoe all the way up is great for my daughters braces, to slide in the shoe without bending the shoe or pinching the brace. Also the wide option allows for the brace to have a little extra room without having to get a bigger size shoe.

Our twelve year old grandson has severe autism and because of this, he walks on his toes. 11 years of walking on toes has made the front of his feet very wide, and also very difficult to put on shoes. When Billy shoes came out with a wide high top last year, we were ecstatic. That, in combination with the zipper that made it easy to put his foot into the shoe, was a God-send. Where would we be without Billy Shoes? Barefoot year round! Thank you!!

We love these shoes! My son has cerebral palsy and it is extremely difficult to get shoes to properly fit him. These shoes are perfect for him. I really like the dark grey color.

Love this wdr version. Will be buying this version in the future. There are two inserts which is helpful since my son has slightly larger AFO on one foot.
