In the past I wore a model of Thorogoods that are no longer available in Zappos. These Reeboks are excellent. Glad I changed, much lighter shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Thorogood high ankle profile is also excellent.

It's been a week since I've purchased these shoes. Talk about difference from steel toe boots. If you work on government projects they meet EM385-1-1 requirements.

I have been buying the Reebok 4038 style for years. I work at a shipyard and am on my feet for 10 hours a day. They are light and comfortable. I don't need to break them in.
