Very comfortable for those on their feet all day. The lacing system needs improvement; the lacing tends to loosen up and it is hard to keep the top from getting too loose.

They're a little tight across the top of my right foot. Hopefully it'll get better as they get broken in.

The fit is snug. I'd get a half size up at least. Maybe even a whole size if you intend to wear thick socks.

I've had 3 pairs of these boots. The style, comfort and being fairly waterproof have made these my favorite by far. My only complaint would be the stitching separates especially around the black trim guards on the front sides. Even my local tack shop was surprised to see this. I'll still buy another pair, I like riding in them. Their soles far outlast the timberland boot.

Boot was way to big, despite me typically being a size 10, I needed a size 8.5. otherwise seems good quality for the price

These shoes run very large. Had to return original order for smaller size. Color is much darker than shown in most pictures and from what I've seen in person.

I ordered the distressed brown which shows the lighter color boot, which is what I wanted. When I received the boot it was indeed the darker brown boot. Please correct the pictures of your boots. They are not right. I will reorder, but now I've lost my 10% first order discount. Booo....

Comfortable, durable, quality boot. I wear these daily for work where I can be walking up to 12 miles per day. They have held up remarkably.

I needed a boot for this fall and really liked the look of this one and the glowing reviews it got, especially the short break in time. Unfortunately I am experiencing some heal rubbing and dont know what to do to help it. Any ideas?

I am on my third round of these. I ride in them multiple times a week stomp in the mud and walk around town. My only reason for not giving a 5 star- the cushioning would be improved, when I try other Ariat boots the cushion is much softer and more supportive.

Love the look and feel of these boots. The rep told me to order them in my tennis shoe size (9.5D), but if I could go back, I'd order them 1/2 size down as them seem to run a little large (loose in the heel and a bit long). Other than that they're extremely comfortable and look great.

Incredibly comfortable boots. I'm on my third pair. I've worn them everywhere. I am hard on the soles of footwear and the heels hold up great.

There was a manufacturing defect in the seam of the boot so I called customer service and I sent them back and I'm currently awaiting the refund

I love the look of the boot and they are comfortable, however I noticed the brown around the bottom of the boot is subject to scraping off the brown leather. I have scrape marks on both (I believe it is when I get in or out of my car) but I don't know how to fix it. Scratch marks going everywhere, looks like they need painted. It has been too long to return them but I haven't worn them that often. I have never had a pair of boots do this before. If there is a way to fix them I wish I could find out how, google searches not showing much. That is why I gave them 4 stars vs. 5.

These are great endurance riding and every day wear shoes. I have horrid feet and been wearing 8.5 M terrain in other colors since '92 but have worn the black for a very long time now. I worn hard orthotics since '82 and nsg school. I have to take out the insert. These are the only shoes I have NEVER walked over the soles. (Clarks were only a month before I walked them over, but those were for office work. ). I love these shoes and I have been bugging Ariat CS ever since they came out with their first wides asking for black. . Wide black have been in the "process" for decades now. The only dressy color and they can't make it wide. I have no idea what their problem is! Lots of reviewers complain at the lack of wide. I do not like distressed leather but they all seem to be that. Every little mark shows. I've had them before. So now I am going to the H2O terrain in Copper in a 9 wide. It seems the darkest. My toes need more room. I pray this solves the squished toe problem. These last about 2 years before the sole tread srarts to go in the ball of the foot and heel. They really can last 3 before there are smooth spots on the soles. Heel starts first. I have not tried other brands because they do not promote a steel shank nor stability.

I bought these a few weeks ago for my sister in law's wedding. I was so excited when I got them in the mail because they were my first pair of cowgirl boots. They were perfect, except for one thing- 2 inches too big. I decided to go true to my "normal" size and ordered an 8. I returned them and will be ordering a smaller size. Lesson learned, order according to the sizing chart, not your normal size!

I bought these to ride motorcycles. I wanted a boot high enough to protect my calf from the upswept exhaust. I had to go 1 size larger to fit my calf. I was concerned about the heel height as I do not wear heels. I barely noticed the heel height. The boots were very comfortable, worn almost daily. After a couple months the sole was worn enough to be slippery on wet streets. I continued to wear them in dry weather. I I was extremely glad I did. In February 2017, I had them on when I lost control on loose gravel and crashed. I wish the rest of my gear had performed as well. The toes are badly scraped and the sides are scuffed, but my skin, calfs, ankles and feet were protected.

Been wearing this brand a long time, this style always. I get about 3 years out of a pair of boots on the farm, wearing them year round & in any kind of weather for all kinds of chores. I prefer a suede upper & have had a blue/purple upper combo with pale brown boot before, which I loved. I got these pink camo attrocities as a gift Xmas '15 (because my mother has no actual taste except in her mouth, & because the AB store had such a poor selection - WHY? I go home to AB to buy almost anything western because there are hardly any western stores in Manitoba where more people rife English than anything else). These pink camo boots are so bloody ugly(!)perw that I WISH they'd wear out sooner, but I guess I'm stuck with the ugliest boots on the planet for a couple of more years because, aside from being hideous & embarrassing, they are a comfortable fit & a great overall boot.

This is my third pair of Fatbaby Original. I love this boot but you have changed the inside and the sole.I wish you hadn't I liked the real originals plain no color just white stitching and leather like in the inside. I don't know how this felt like feature is going to last when continuously putting your foot in and out day in day out. I ride my horse and I ride with my husband on his Harley I liked the original sole it was very easy to walk in. These new boots I had to have stretched...didn't with my last two. My mom always said if it ain't broke don't fix it (change it)!
