After switching from English to Western, I decided to replace my worn-out boots and half-chaps with actual cowboy boots. Intending to get a plain Fatbaby boot that I could ride and do barn chores in, the retailer I visited brought the Saddle type out. I put them on and bought them immediately. Perfect fit; very snug with some wiggle room around the toes, gorgeous leather, and a great sole. I only wish the calf was a bit taller. Even non-horse people love them. All around great boots, I can wear them at the barn and in the city.

I was initially looking to get the probabys, but couldn't find them in any stores in my area, so I settled for the fatbabies. Not at all disappointed! I have been wearing them nonstop since I bought them and they are soooo comfortable!!

Comfort from the get go. A little loose in the fit, which I like. Perfect with a little heavier sock. Most comfortable boots I have ever worn. The bonus for me, they look really
good as well. I have had them for three months and use for working light construction.
I tend to care for my shoes, rather than abuse them, and hope these hang for a good while.

I'd not purchased crap kickers before but don't know now how I've gone without for this long. I had to return my firstsize 8 as it was toobigbuttheAriatreturnprocesswas easy. It's been overa month sincei started wearing my size 7.5 boots - in the winter And breakup months - in Alaska and they feel amazingly like they are made for my feet. I love the boots, will treasure this pair And likely wear them until i am no longer.

Comfortable in or out of the saddle. Don't change them. Sizing is large bought one size smaller - then a perfect fit.

I love them. Only complaint. They are a little uncomfortable if you're walking a lot. They could have some cushioning like another pair of ariat composite toe boots I have.

I love these boots! I only wish the sole had a bit more cushion but I can try some inserts.

The fit was too small. Width was ok. The boot was very stiff - not a lot of give when walking. Tight around the ankle. However, this was a fun, good looking shoe. I just don’t think I could hike with it.

I have worn Ariats for years for the last 3 or 4 I have worn a 10 and that's the size I ordered when I went to wear them they were too big needed an extra pair of socks. Other than being too big they are great

Ive always loved these boots. Have been wearing them for 20 years! They are so comfortable, run true to size and let me hike or ride. Definitely my go-to equestrian boot. Id give it 5 stars if the stitching didnt always give out where the rubber and leather meet but thats usually after 2 years of heavy use.

If your foot was ever broken these will be super tight on the broken foot, but they are very comfortable and don't forget your leather conditioner cuz they do come dry and hard ! Will see after a month how they break in.

The Ramblers are interesting boots. They look like nothing else, the shaft is made from four pieces of leather and left unlined, giving them a rustic, almost unfinished look. Whether you like that aesthetic or not is a matter of personal taste, but what you do get in return is remarkable comfort.
My feet are low-volume, and unlike with hockey skates, it can be difficult to find boots that fit well. After a bit of tinkering with insoles, the fit turned out perfect, and the Ramblers have become my most comfortable pair of cowboy boots.

The foam sole make for very comfortable wear but don't recommend for work, they wear down very fast. Overall very comfortable and spacious especially nice if you have bunions.

Great boot. It fits well. Very cute. Nice heel for riding. I like this boot for endurance riding, not as much for walking or hiking.

I really love the color and the round toe..The heel slips unfortunately it's like a flip flop..So probably will not be worn as it's an unfixable issue..The size is correct at an 8 but the heel is to big..

I have had several pairs of boots. They are comfortable and sturdy for my work on the factory floor. My only complaint is the black toe strip wears out rather quickly.

I love my Fat Baby Ariat boots! I thing the brown is a rich color that goes with anything. The only thing I don't care for is the wide space from my leg to the top part of the boot. Guess my legs are to skinny. I would recommend these boots to a friend.

I own many pairs of Ariat boots and have never had such a color difference in the leather. These are replacing my 13 year old fat baby's, and the fit is just as good. My only problem was the color difference.

Runs large. Usually I wear a 7.5 but had to return and get a 7. And it still feels loose even with thick socks. Didn't want to go thru another exchange. Good boots

First I worked in a western store for a few yrs so i know boots. I have very wide calfs 19" and a wide foot. Wide is hard to find. These fit with about 1" calf to spare. I know the foots a bit tight when you first put them on and being deer they will loosen the more you wear them.My only issue is the rubber sole. Hince the 4 star review. But they are great if your just wearing and not line dancing. I believe you could put a leather sole over these . Maybe on down the road. I have almost a 19" calf. Due to kidney issues. The deep v cut also helps and 11" shaft. The boot is snug on foot and heel as they should be being new. So if you have up to 19" calfs they should fit. I am happy to find these. As my old ones are shorter and looking more destressed. I will prob get the brown after pay day. Plenty of room in toe box.I have a friend that would love a pair of white.Thank you Ariat for considering us wide calf gals. Ariat ROCKS! Oh and these are not elastic under the pulls .These are wide foot wide calf.

I recently purchased these and I love them! However, the laces need to be addressed, they are shorter now and constantly come untied. It's annoying!
