The insole is not made the same as my old shoe, not as supportive, had to insert old insole for the comfort.

I'm in the testing phase of the shoes. After three runs on the trial, not liking the soles. Soles are too thin and cause too much impact. I wore it as a running errands kind of day and shoe feels comfortable. However, it's not meeting my needs which was a trail hiking and running shoe. Also, I'm a half size smaller in Hoka.

Not the most comfy trail running shoes, definitely have sore feet and knees by the end of my run. Still love hoka though

I thought I'd love the Torrent 3, I don't. I wore them For the first time this past weekend for several hours and my feet hurt really bad. I have arthritis in my feet. I LOCE HOKA, I especially LOVE Bondi 8 and Clifton. I'm certain many folks would love this shoe unfortunately I don't. I returned them

I really love my Hoka shoes. I have the Torrent 3 shoes. After the 2nd week the sole on my right shoe on the outside started pulling apart. I put some super glue on it and it stayed. Then last week the bottom of the rt heel came apart and I have to glue it there as well. I love the fit and feel of them but I'm kinda in the air about ordering them again because of this issue. If not for that I would give my Hokas 5 stars.

I have two pair of the Hoka Torrent 2. I use them for hiking in warmer weather and love them. I just received my pair of Torrent 3. I do not love them. The shoe feels cheaper and the shoelaces are obviously of cheaper quality. There also appears to be a negative stack in the heel or at least I feel like there is. I noticed it immediately and only tried on one shoe. I will be returning these trail runners to Hoka. Tweaked until they ruined a once great shoe.

I have a high instep, slight rolling arch with a need for toe space. I like a low impact without all that extra cushioning. Low to the ground supportive and responsive to the heel. Especially with a bad case of sciatica and someone who regardless likes to be active. The Torrent 2 was the best. The impact on the Torrent 3 isn't as responsive and feels a bit more narrow. The landing also seems a bit more longer. Something is different with Torrent 3 The Torrent 3 isn't as comfy and is lacking that low to the ground spring. Still a comfortable wear - just not for a long day in them. Seem to rum a little small

I bought these specifically to ensure I could hike, rain or shine. My normal path includes transitioning from trail to asphalt and back. These shoes are fine on trail. Unfortunately, there is no traction on wet asphalt and I slip and slide until I'm back on trail..so dangerous... I'm going back to Brooks.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped. Definitely not a shoe to wear for 8 hours on concrete at work.

I've worn the Torrents for several years, and really like them. They work great on a variety of trail surfaces and stay comfortable for long distances. The one problem that I've had with the Torrent 2's & 3's is with the lugs, which have not held up. Before hitting 200 miles the lugs have fallen off of at least 3 pairs. I really wish they had Vibram bottoms like some of the other Hoka trail runners, because these are some of my favorites trail shoes otherwise.

I think I like them but still not sure. They seem ok... I don't like that they look like golf shoes when I look at my feet but I guess that's just cosmetic. I was long overdue to replace my trail shoes so they feel better than what I had before but not sure they're a 5 star. Feel about a half size too big.

These Hoka Torrent 3 seemed at least 1/2 size larger in one shoe and felt very awkward. The heel collar hit in different places on either foot, with little jabs to my ankles. So uncomfortable. Very disappointed because I love the color and style. I give up trying to order shoes online!

You really need to be careful wearing these shoes on wet surfaces. They are very slippery. I have almost fallen many times wearing these. I have another pair of Hokas and I love them

I purchased these in a size 10. I did give them a chance and wore them a few times. However, I started to develop an ache in my left foot.

They're decent for short periods of time after a long day my feet ache. The more expensive pairs are much more comfortable

Just received my new pair of Torrent 3 trail runners. Huge disappointment. I have 2 pairs of their predecessor, Torrent 2, which I use for hiking in warm weather. I love those. I do not love the Torrent 3. Hoka has cheapened this shoe in almost every respect. They have reduced the layer of mesh on the upper from two layers to one, they have lowered the protective covering around the front of the foot (WHY??), it seems they have also lowered the heel stack making these trail runners feel like they have a negative stack, they have narrowed and cheapened the shoe laces. I only had to try on one shoe to realize how bad this new Torrent iteration is. I returned them immediately. Like everything else, when a brand becomes so popular that the masses wear it just because it's "in", quality suffers. It certainly has in this case. With its latest tweaking of the Torrent, Hoka has ruined a once great trail running shoe. I no longer recommend this brand and hope HOKA recovers from mass appeal.

Arch was very uncomfortable and dug prominently into my foot. Shoe felt to be a bit stiff, but I liked the color/style. Had to return because of the uncomfortable arch.

Far from my expectations. I purchase this shoes because it’s known for its comfort but I’m disappointed because it’s feels so hard on my feet. I feel like that I will be having blisters on my feet that I need to return the shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka but not this model. My Hoka Rincon 3 is very comfy.

I have been running in Torrent 2s for the last couple years and love them. Even recommended them to a friend who now where's them. This is my first pair of 3s. As soon as I took them out of the box, something was different. They seem very poorly made. Even the shoestrings are different. They are smaller and seem to be of cheap quality. Very dissatisfied as I have loved every other Torrent 2 I've had, which has at least 5 pair.
