The weight of the shoe and heel toe drop were great, but one 2.6 mile walk/run in these & the sole was already wearing out. Really disappointing.

I ordered a Wide but it still seems narrower than other brands. After only 2 runs on treadmill for about 9 miles, there is already wear shown at the sole.

It feels bigger than it is. And my feet hurt all day

I switched from Altra to Hoka because of all the reviews I heard about Hoka. My first couple runs in them were great! Minus the blisters I got in the same spot on the inside of the ball of my foot. However I've finally been able to run consistently after being super sick and I've got the worst shin splints of my life.. I am running the same amount that I would in other shoes and lord it's so painful. I wanted to love these shoes but unfortunately the pain it's causing me is making me think they just aren't for me anymore sadly.

I have dark compression ankle socks, and unfortunately you could see right thru the tops of these shoes. I love the color combination, it's what made me decide on these. Just wish the fabric was more solid, or had a liner. I did love how lightweight they are, too!

I was excited about trying these shoes. I am a size 5 in women's and they were huge! I had to send them back.

Shoe is comfortable support wise, ended up not liking the tongue of the shoe personally. Biggest issue with this and reason I returned my shoes was the color was not at all as bright as the picture indicated online (Color: White/Flame).

I love this sneaker but there were several yellow stains on the white laces and body of shoe.

Not sure if it's me or the shoes but I think these are causing shin splints. I tried giving it several weeks to break them in, but it still feels terrible running. I'm disappointed because they look really nice. I may need to just use these as a cross training shoe because I cannot keep running in them.

This is my 3rd pair of HOKA's. The first 2 being Mach 4's. I absolutely LOVE them-the 4's. This is all that I wear after going to my podiatrist, his suggestion for my foot problems. Well, new models came out and since the 4's were not available I had to purchase the 5's. Not the same! My feet now hurt when I take them off, they are not helping the issues that I have. Not as nice as the 4's. I'll have to try another style I guess. I also use an insert from the Dr.

This sneaker looks great and is very comfortable; however, after one month they have started to squeak. They did not get wet as I am extremely careful. But now they constantly squeak as I walk which is a big problem. I would not expect this type of issue given the price tag.

These are the second model of Hokka that I've felt were sold as women's but sized for men because they are just too wide!!!

While I absolutely love Hoka and will continue to order their shoes, I feel compelled to put a comment about the "white" Mach 5. The picture makes it seem like it is a pure white shoe, yet when it arrived at my home, it actually has faint, beige striping throughout the shoe and the bottom rubber of the shoe fades from white to beige, which actually makes it look like the shoe is dirty. I sent them back.

These shoes were very responsive and great for speed work but awful for anything over a mile, I found that my feet start to hurt very bad if I try to wear them for anything but speed work.

The cushion is thin and flat with no arch support. I did a 4 mile test run outside and I felt my feet burning. I'll only be using them on the treadmill.
