I really like my Mach 5, they offer support and stability, I do wish there was more cushion but maybe I could try an insole for that.

I like the shoes, the fit is fine but they don't feel very cushioned

These Mack 5 are much more comfortable than the Clifton 8 for me. I bought both to see which one I liked best. The Clifton 8 were really cushioned and nice but the high arch inside bothered meit was uncomfortable and felt unnatural to my feet. The Mach 5 are less padded (the tongue) but lighter in weight and better for my feet, they feel really spongy and good when I walk. The only thing that brothers me is the roomy toe box (I have really narrow feet) And the large HOKA on the sideI wish that wasn't SO BIG!

I usually wear a 9.5 in Hoka shoes. In these, the 9.5 were way too long. Size 9 feels good, but I haven't run in them yet.

First pair of really good running shoes. been doing lots of walking (8+ miles a day) and they really help my feet. However, my feet still hurt after 3 hours but not as bad as old pair. They feel really great quality though. Great for road running/walking (soles are foam so would not take these on the trails at all). Also the soles are wearing out fast, but I expected that with how much I am taking them out.

I typically don't buy high priced shoes, but I had been getting so many recommendations on buying HOKA due to the great comfort. Although, im not a runner and average 6-10k of daily steps a day I guessed a running shoe would be suitable for walking. After 4 months im no longer sold. My feet ache, legs ache, wear compression socks for preventing varicose veins and shoes are very loud squeaks on unpaved floors. Maybe i just purchased the wrong shoe, but don't want to pay the price for another shoe only to be disappointed. I tried.

love the color, hate the heel pain

The shoe is very comfortable and light weight. I used them mainly as my walking shoe and have had them for a little under a year. My main fault is that the tread/bottom of the shoe wore out within that time; to the point that they are no longer comfortable. It would prevent me from purchasing again. If you put miles on, I would maybe look for a shoe that has a rubber lined bottom. Otherwise a great shoe, I was sad to have to replace them!

Shoe fit great, but the extended heel is awkward, and not very attractive

I have bought Hokas before and was pretty surprised at what seems to be poor quality in this shoe. The yoke is very flimsy as is the material of the shoe. The only thing about the same is the sole. Hummmm

I got these for my mom for her birthday on March 17 so she didn't even try them on yet , she will be 86 and I wanted a better sneaker for her to walk in

I feel like my feet can't bend when I walk in these, makes me feel flat footed, like I'm stomping my feet. I'm very disappointed

TBH, I am not wild about the so-called improvements from the mach 4.I don't care for the thin tongue on the shoe. The back stabilizer part seems a little higher than it was before, and the arch doesn't fit my foot as well as the Mach 4s do.

They are pretty but they seem to be cheap made. They cost as much as my other Hokas but they just don't seem to be of good quality. They are very light weight shoes and that is a plus for me.
