This was my third pari of Hoka Bondi. I work in healthcare and need a good shoe with support. However, this last pair have started to fall apart after only 2 months. the back of the shoe support has broken and rubs on my ankle. Very uncomfortable. Not worth the cost anymore.

I have worn another leading brand for years and after a recent design change, decided to get fitted properly before purchasing an alternative replacement. Was recommended the Bond 8s which felt great in store and when I tried them around the house. Disappointingly, they kill my feet when I walk for more than half an hour - and I generally live in these things of a weekend so as to accommodate my orthotics. Now I own an expensive pair of self torture devices. The pressure on my little toes is ridiculous and my plantar fascias are complaining for the first time in years. On the upside, my knees are feeling better. I wore them this morning to stroll around a market and just wanted to get home and get them off. What's a girl to do??

Not as cushioned as described. Base to narrow.

I am admittedly an Asics fangirl. When they changed the entire design of the Kayano (my favorite long run shoe), I gravitated away from it in search of a cushioned shoe I could rack up miles in. I found the Clifton 9, and while I liked it, found it to lack the cushion I desired. I ordered the Bondi 8 after they were recommended by a local running store. They were delivered yesterday and I wore them all day in an effort to break them in. I can't begin to describe how awkward fitting, clunky, and uncomfortable these shoes are. The entire day these shoes dug into my arches and I couldn't wait to get off of my 12 hour hospital shift just to get home and throw them at the wall.

Too hard. Uncomfortable. Hurt my feet even though correct size. The wide is still not suitable.

I am someone who stands all day for work and have dealt with the physical strain of doing so. I've had several people including a nurse recommend that I try Hoka shoes to help with my pain and being able to stand all day. So I spent the money to buy the Bondi 8s and I am dissatisfied to say the least. I am in considerably more pain and can hardly stand for more than 45 minutes at a time when I wear these shoes. My legs, hips and back hurt so much I can hardly walk by the end of the day and my feet have started going numb, which has never happened to me before. I did try the shoes on in a store to see if I liked how they fit and the first week wearing them was fine, but by the 2nd week I was seriously regretting buying the shoes. I'm sure most people have loved these shoes but for me they were a huge waste of money.

I had another pair of Hoka I bought at a running store. I bought my new ones on line. Same style size etc. they are to wide and are causing blisters from rubbing against the sides. I've worn them 3 times in case I was wrong. But I threw out the box so assumed I could not return

Very narrow around the arch of my foot so the tongue digs into the inner side of my arch.

I purchased these shoes hopeful they would help with my planter fasciitis. Unfortunately, they made it worse and hurt my knees. I sadly had to return them.

The 1st pair that I got were very uncomfortable. The instep on the right foot was too high? It was rubbing against my foot in a painful way. Exchanged for another pair. Same issue but not quite as bad as the first pair. Overall feel was very hard and lacked cushioning for both pairs. Returned the 2nd pair. Sad they didn't work out.

I returned the Hoka on 3/14/24 due to quality problems. The material on the sides are wrinkled, the left shoe arch support is too high, and my right ankle was touching the shoe on top of the shoe border on each step making it hurt. I still waiting for my money return.

Those shoes looks so different than the picture. I feel full pain in my ankles and the quality is not good for that price. They take more the 10 days to return my money

Do not buy these if you have a Total Knee Replacement. I'm not sure when/if I will recover.

Quite ridiculous fit and comfort for purpose presented pain per 12 hours. These shoes were great back in the day. The forefront of the shoe now looks like the wheel of a garbage container you put out on the street for trash pickup and the mid width and heel doesn't make sense with the ridiculous forefront. This shoe now after seven years, doesn't make sense, sans one star. Sad this has happened with your product

I really wanted to like these shoes! I even got them in wide but the arch was extremely uncomfortable and the insoles were digging in my arches with each step. I put them right back in the box after trying them on in my house. Back they went!

I ordered the same Hoka Bondi 8 shoes in wide, same size as my current ones. They seemed like a different shoe. Clearly not wide and much less cushion. I can't account for the difference. Frustrating as these shoes are on the expensive side and I was so happy with my previous pair.

I have been trying to track my shoes for two days and nobody seems to care or know where they are. This is absolutely ridiculous. I don't recommend buying directly from the site because you will be running around in circles trying to figure out where your product is.

I was SOO excited to get these! Putting them on, they are very comfortable. But that's where the good part ends these are very dangerous shoes and I do not recommend them. Because they elevate and "support" the foot so highly, your step will be affected. Less than a week into wearing them, I twisted and sprained my ankle. Now I'm not able to walk for several days. I will be throwing these in the next bonfire I'd give them to someone less fortunate but no one deserves to be harmed by these awful shoes. I would return these but I have worn them outside and I don't want to bother taking them to the post office because they are so dreadful.

My daughter has been running in bondi 8s since they came out. The recently purchased pair was very stiff. I tried them on myself, and it feels like they have changed some thing about them. We will be returning.

I bought the exact same shoe in the same size as I have had twice before and these are unbearable! I've got blisters on my ankle where something is digging in, the toe box feels smaller causing blisters and they do not feel nearly as cushiony. I was hoping I just needed to break them in (despite not having to do so with any of the previous pairs) but unfortunately they are no better. Very disappointed.
