At first they felt great. Then after the first gym workout, my feet hurt so bad that I haven't worn them since. The toe box is wide but the midsection is tight. When a shoe says wide, you expect all of it to be wide. I had to go back to my saucony wide even though they are too wide. I still think they are great shoes, but I have a very difficult time finding shoes the actually fit and are comfortable.

I keep trying to buy these shoes but they all give me a big blister in the inside of my heels, they are just not cushioned enough in that part of the shoe.. this doesn't happen with Adidas or Nike..

I loved the color and was sad when it didn't come in a wide.

I'm sure these shoes are great. A lot of people at work wear them, but for me, they kill my feet. They hurt way too bad for me to even try to break in. If they were a lower cost shoe I would probably try, but unfortunately I have to return these. The wide is still too narrow. Especially around your toes and the front of the shoe. The shoes are built with some really uncomfortable sides that dig in to your feet. The arch hurts my flat feet.

I wanted to love these Hokas! My first time trying this brand, based on rave reviews from friends and my need for ankle and knee support. I wore them once. The cushioning was terrific, and took the pressure off my knees. But the very stiff insole cut into the inside of my left foot to the point that I had a red line from the hard edge. I had to return them.

I bought these to support my feet in NYC because I had major pain in the ball of my foot. They look adorable and they have made a huge difference in my metatarsalgia foot pain. I even went jogging in them and was fine in that regard. However, the arch support chafes the side of my foot a lot! Enough to create blisters. I'm keeping them and am gonna just wear them until my feet toughen up, but it's definitely a bummer because they were so expensive. I'm not sure if my foot is too narrow or wide! Oh well. I'll get used to it.

The fit in the toe box was a bit too roomy for my foot which slid around when walking. Arch support was good but I have plantar fasciitis and the heel was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, not as much cushioning as expected.

I am a walker, daily. These shoes were recommended for me, as they are very cushioned. True enough. I had tried them on in a store, then ordered from Hoka online. I had to order a 7 1/2, even though I usually wear a 7. The right shoe fit well. However, when walking with the Bondis on, my left heel kept slipping. I even tried tying them in the extra hole to tighten them. Still, my heel slipped. I'm used to wearing the Arahi 6, and I love the fit and cushioning. The Bondis were just not for me. I didn't like the feel, and the fit wasn't right.

This is my first pair of Hoka's. They are my work shoes so they are worn 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. I do like them but there is a couple of things I don't like. I think the fabric at the toe area is too lose which I'm not a fan of looks wise. Also, I walk on a treadmill 4 days a week & both shoes hurt the outer side of my feet beneath the pinky toes. I had high hopes for them but, I don't think I'll purchase them again.

I have plantar fasciitis and problems with my ankles. This shoe does not give me the support that I need. I should have bought a wide but the rep told me I would be fine with the regular size. Not true at all.

This is a first-time purchase for me but I heard so many positive things about fit, support, etc. that I really looked forward to receiving them! The shoes are great! However, I subtracted 2 stars because instead of "white" they are actually a blue-ish lavender color!

Bought these shoes by accident. Went in store and tried Clifton 8, went online to get different color, but accidentally ordered the Bondi 8. These shoes are nice looking, very stable and comfortable for walking/standing all day. I tried running in them and they give me blisters on my bottom, left heel, and the ball of my left foot hurts while running. I have tried to tie these a bit tighter and it has alleviated some of that pain. I cannot return these, so I will continue to wear/use, with hopes they "break in" for me. These almost have "too much cushion", I have never met a shoe with too much cushion until this one. I am 53 and struggle with knee painseems like the cushion would help, but not sure it does.

I so wanted to like these. They made both of my knees hurt which was super surprising and I felt like I was getting blisters on the bottom of my toes. I also purchased the Clifton which worked out way better for me.

Felt like cheap sneakers. Was told to order a wide because they run narrow which is true so they felt fine width wise but I’m always a 6.5 and they were too short. My big toe hit the end. I said it-feels like cheap shoe. Also, the toe box was flared out do much thst they look like clown shoes! And the extended rubber sole on the heel looks ridiculous too,

I ordered a Bondi 8 because the shoes I have previously used were Bondi 7. I do not find that the Bondi 8 is as cushiony and as easy to the eye as the Bondi 7. I am disappointed in that the Bondi 8 and would not buy them again.

Nothing wrong with the shoes, just felt too clunky. One thing for sure - these shoes are WAY OVERPRICED. I sent them back and ended up buying another brand.

1) They feel stiff unforgiving and clunky. 2) weird widened forefoot sole. I have been wearing Hoka since 2014. Fell in love with the Stenson initially but needed a wider shoe. The Mafate was the widest plushest shoe at the time so i wore that at work. I am a nurse and do long hours on my feet i would say 4-5 miles /day and lots of standing. They were great until Hoka changed them. Fast forward to the Bondi. I have worn them from the start and they saved my knees and back allowing me to work many more years. The changes made to the newest Bondi 8 are slightly disappointing. I find the sole too unforgiving and because the forefoot sole is so much wider than the previous models, it impedes my foot from its natural heel to toe path. I began having fore foot pain so i am now looking for an alternative. I am hoping you have not made the same weird change to the Stenson.

I have never spent this amount of money on shoes. They feel ok while wearing them for the most part, but I can't even walk, and my feet hurt so much worse after I remove them. I have been told by many these are the brand to buy for plantar fasciitis, maybe I ordered the incorrect size or width or who knows. But not a fan at this point.

When I first put these on, they felt very comfortable. But I wore them for my daily three mile walk for about two weeks and found them to be almost too soft. Also the very wide sole in the front made it feel awkward and not comfortable.

First off it ran big so I'm returning it for a smaller size. The flared out toe area and heel area are getting caught walking down steps for both me and my husband

I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. These shoes hurt my feet so bad. I ordered a wide, but the side of the shoe and heels killing my feet. Another nurse told me that you have to get the Hoka that fits your feet. I'm really trying to work with these shoes.

I am disappointed that these shoes did not work for me. I tried wearing them only a little while around my house and my back started hurting. I have chronic back pain. I have bunions on both feet and plantar fasciitis in my left foot as well and the right shoe was rubbing that bunion, but my plantar pain didn't seem to bother me. I ordered a half size larger than the shoes I am trying to replace and they look huge-like boats on my feet! Didn't exactly live up to be that cushioned in my opinion either. I will have to look elsewhere.
