I have heel problems and while I'm not a runner , having a good shoe that isn't an ugly orthotic makes all the difference in the world

Not an exaggeration to say, these shoes have given me my life back. After running for 40 years, I had 2 years with adenomyosis followed by a hysterectomy for uterine cancer that derailed my exercise. Afterwards, my much worsened arthritic feet made running and walking impossible. I tried every "cushioned" shoe on the market, but nothing reduced the pain and subsequent exhaustion of arthritic feet. These Bondi 8s have changed everything. I can walk and have started back to running again because they are the first shoes in years that I can say make the pain so minimal. I don't even feel the urge to rip them off after my run as they feel soothing even afterwards. I want to thank Hoka from the bottom of my heart. My joyful mediation running is back and I feel whole again. Priceless!

This brand was recommended to me by someone else that had plantar fascitis. I have been using braces and tape with little to no relief of pain. Since starting with HOKA five months ago, I have been able to do normal activities and even been able to start going on walks again!! These sneakers have literally been a life saver for me!

I was SO excited to get my new Hokas only to be disappointed with the fit. These are my 5th pair and they are not as cushioned as my others. They also feel a bit tighter. The back of my sneaker rubs on my ankle and gets a bit sore. My husband threw away the box so I decided to keep them hoping they will be okay. I also noticed the outside of them look cheaper than my old ones. Could just be a matter of opinion.

I don't know why companies feel a need to change a shoe people loved. Make a new line if you want to have a different shoe. Your brand is the only shoe some of us with foot issues can wear and with every upgrade you destroy them. These are not bouncing or cushiony, they don't feel as wide, the tongue doesn't sit correctly in the shoe and the padding is awful. BRING BACK BONDI 7!!

Thought it would have better cushioning in the heels, little narrower.
Good arch support.
Make more of the bondi 7.

I have not stopped wearing my new HOKA'S. AT 74 I need to have a comfortable, supportive and lightweight shoe when walking. My whole body adjusted and my back ache after I walk never came! I strongly suggest these!

I have severe arthritis and bone spurs in my right foot. Less than a month before a trip to Europe -- where lots of walking would be involved -- I was in such pain that I couldn't even bear weight on that foot and feared my trip would be ruined. Fortunately I found an outstanding podiatrist who recommended Hokas to me, which I ordered right away. Between those and other therapies, I ended up walking thousands of steps a day on my trip without any pain at all. I quickly ordered a second pair and haven't worn any other shoes since!

Really like the new design. I like the tongue of the shoe is held in place. I do miss some of the soft cushion found in the Bondi 7, however, maybe these will soften up after wearing them for a bit. I would not say they are hard by any means, just not a bouncy/cushy as the 7. Great colors, super cute, and the same fantastic support I need!

I bought the shoes on a recommendation of my daughter. I have had foot surgery and need extra arch support. I wore these for a few hours and each time I was uncomfortable. I finally broke down and bought inserts for them and they are better than they were before.

Loving the shoes. They allow me to stay active throughout the day, walking when I want to, running on burst, and then to go to the gym with just one pair of shoes. Told all my family and friends about them.

I am suffering from severe plantor fasciitis. My podiatrist recommended HOKA shoes, so I bought the Bondi. They have helped greatly. I also purchased recovery slides. Another winner.

This is my second pair of the Hoka Bondi style shoe. My first pair I bought a couple of years ago were much better. The new pair I just received I feel have changed a lot! The tongue of the shoe is for some reason attached on one side and it is very bothersome. They also fit MUCH tighter than they used to and my feet haven't changed much. They are still a good choice for comfort and cushion, but I'm not super happy about the changes they have made to this shoe.

I initially bought the Bondi to walk 144 miles on Camino Portugues. They arrived in the mail, I tried them on, and the left arch support did not feel right. Boy was I disappointed! I returned them but ended up buying the Speedgoat 5. I normally wear a 6.5 and upsized to size 8. That was recommended by an experienced Camino hiker. I did a trial hike with fully loaded backpack (13 pounds) and my Hoka Speedgoat shoes- perfect! I would definitely buy another pair of Speedgoat again! They are so cushiony & the tongue is so soft. They fit snug enough and my feet don't slide in them. Plus I have room for my feet to swell especially since I need a wide toe box.

Bondi 8 wide shoe was too snug in the width. So disappointed because I have had other Bondi shoes and the wide shoe was perfect. This one not so much, had to return.
