I purchased these to replace my two year old Bondi 7's. My older shoes are still in good shape but look a little worn and wanted a new lighter color. The Hoka Bondi has been one of the few shoes that I can wear without an orthotic. Sadly, the Bondi 8, although super built up, is lacking in foot padding. Not near as comfortable as the 7. Hopefully I can find some 7's in my size and stock up. Very disappointed that Hoka felt the need to change the style and cheapen them up.

Walking to break in. Not outside yet, too hot.

I wore these sneakers while walking around Philly, about 38 blocks. My feet felt great the whole time. The only issue is I got a blister on the side of my heel. I guess my heel didn't fit as snug as I thought.

The Hoka Bondi 7 and this Bondi 8 are a neutral, cushioned shoe that gives stability to my ankle. I had to return my first Bondi 8 because it was too garish and I was concerned by the much larger footprint with the flared sides. After trying other brands that did not offer a large enough toe box, I tried the Bondi 8 again. I chose a more subdued color, which I like, and was pleasantly surprised that Hoka has removed the firmer edge striping that now allows my little toes to have even more room. The Bondi 8 is not as cushioned as the Bondi 7, so that is a negative as far as I am concerned. I also don't understand the flared portion that makes the shoe look as if the toe box is larger when it is not. I would love it if the Bondi 7 is brought back.

These are a little narrow and don't fit as well as the bondi 7 I bought I will probably buy a size 9 wide next time

I work retail and am on my feet walking an average odd 11 hours a day. The plushness of the Bondi 8 is less than when I started wearing them (Bondi 6's) four years ago. My feet feel sore at the end of the day with the 8's but are still a good shoe.

I have arthritic feet. These shoes are super stable & supportive. They have a great structure. I expected it to be cushioned inside but it wasn't. I love them though. I have less pain.

While the extra cushion is great, the bottom of the shoe is super big - to the point I'd be afraid I trip over my feet. It's a good looking shoe and I'm sure great for others, just didn't fit me right.

I like my new bondi 8 but I'm not sure if it's the shoe or my foot but the right shoe is hurting my arch. Almost like the arch sets to high on my arch

Bought these at one of the L.L.Bean outlet stores when on sale for 50% off,. The color wasn't my first choice, but it was an excellent buy. The Hoka sneakers in general are very comfortable, but they seem to all be slightly higher than other brands, which causes them to rub up against my ankle bone which can be somewhat irritating.

I loved my first hoka's (5 yrs old)
This pair, same style, has changed. The wideness beyond foot is a bit much. But most importantly, the back easily folds down when putting them on. Prefer a more rigid back heel peice. The pull peice is hard to pull it back straight. I think this should b improved.

I think they are a little bigger then my last pair, but are still OK. I do wish there was another style that had this much padding on the ball of the foot.

Wears good and a nice color. Could you do the same deep toebox in a casual tennis shoe? Morton's neuroma and crossover toe will not keep me from looking a pretty dress shoe, sandal and casual slipon tennis shoe.

I loved the look, but there wasn’t enough arch support for me. Also, one foot is narrower than the other. I bought B width and it was too tight on the wide foot.

They are nice but the inside of the arch rubs on my foot. It causes a sore spot. I may try another style and see if I have the same issue.

It has been raining on and off since I received these. Today I took a chance trying to keep them shiny .
Immediately I feel them cushiony and supportive whereas old ones lost that .
Unfortunately here in Texas I live and walk on concrete so my back takes that beating . First time trying Hoka for walking and optimistic

The Bondi 8 fit true to size and was a nice shoe. I also purchased the Clifton 9 for comparison and I'm returning the Bondi 8 and keeping the Clifton 9. They both fit great but the Clifton 9 was a better fit for me.

I purchased the Hoka Boni 8 because of a review stating that it was a great shoe for walking on concrete. Although the shoe fit right, I immediately felt that there wasn't enough arch support.

It is like walking on your own personal cushions under your feet. These shoes are great if you are flat footed or you walk more on the inside of your feet and need major arch support. I walk more on the outside of my feet and have high arches so they aren't for me personally.

I really do like these shoes!!! They seem to be a little on the small side vs my Rincon. But they are still comfortable. I stand & walk for good portion of day. Feet never hurt at end of My feet don't hurt anymore. You can't beat that!! Pretty sure I'm sticking w HOKA

it was a little too wide. the arch of my foot feel too flat since the shoe was 7D wider than a regular 7B size. i feel as if i had to use all the room on the wider section. the back of the shoe rub my heel since it was just a tab wide. I have purchased a 7B and still looking for an alternative shoe to wear so I have an extra pair.

Just one thing, if you had more padding inside bottom of shoes. Other than that I wear them all day. Good job !

I like the shoe but for my plantar fasciitis, I needed more arch support. I will go to a shoe store that carries these so I can try them on. Other than that I really liked how they felt. On my normal foot, I don't think I would have needed a break in period..

My feet hurt all the time. I bought a pair of these and they are great! Great for everyday wear & walking.
Lots of plush cushioning on bottom.
