I love the Bondi 7 and was excited by the Bondi 8 but they have been such a disappointment. They are so expensive and I can't return them since they are on my feet currently. I bought them in wide and the foot box is still to narrow with my feet spilling out on the sides and making it difficult to walk. I have tried different insoles and the problem still is there. They are uncomfortable to be in all day and leave my feet aching. The design is not orthopedic like the 7s PLEASE BRING BACK THE BONDI 7 they were perfect and its so hard to find them now :(

It is SO hard to find shoes that fit my wide feet that have a Taylors bunion. I was hopeful that the ONLY pair of shoes that Hoka sells with 4E last would work because I have several other foot issues that my podiatrist specifically recommended Hokas for. Basically, they look HUGE, but are not roomy enough in the toe box. I'll have to return them.

The big issue is that the fabric on the heel (back of the shoe) wears out way way to quickly

I found these - even at 4x width - too narrow in the toe area. Also the insole hurt my instep, even though this was the recommended style for a flat foot.

This was going to be my 3rd Hoka. When I put them on the size was fine but the cushion that I have always felt had been exchanged for very hard rocks. I am very disappointed in these shoes.

I had a pair of Bondi 6 and love them but Bondi 8 is totally different experience. They are hard and not as comfortable. Inside sole seem to cut into side of my foot, feels like pinching. Just disappointed

Purchased upon recommendation. Seems like it would be comfortable but the arch doesn't feel right. Downright painful at the end of the day.

It didn't fit so sent it back and exchanged it for a different model. Waiting for it to be received.

The gusset on the tongue distorts the fit of the shoe pulling the tongue way over to the left. The base of the shoe was widened significantly in the Bondi 8 vs the Bondi 7. In general I do not like the changes at all.

I wanted to give this shoe a try, but after running in it once I got quite a few blisters and had to return to my good old Nimbus.

I have worn Bondi 7 shoes for about 5 years now after a recommendation from a friend of mine. I have been totally happy with them. I mainly like them for the support they give my knees. But have purchased the Bondi 8 shoes and they seem to be quite different from sliding into them to not feeling as good afterwards from a 3 mile run 3 times now. color me surprised. I may have to go back to local Fleet Feet store to try another shoe.

I LOVED my Bondi 7 pair. I needed a new pair, and ordered the Bondi 8. When they came, the tongue under the laces of each shoe has been sewn into one side of the shoe lining so that when the shoes are tied, the tongue is pulled to one side and can't be straightened. I thought maybe I could just cut it, but for just under $200, I shouldn't have to do that. Why the change? The Bondi 7 wasn't like that. I found the perfect sneaker, only to have this come up in the new version.

I brought these shoes because I heard that they was good. Come to find out the money I spent for them. I could have brought some sketchers. I walk 8-10 hours a day delivering mail. They are very uncomfortable. The rub the back of my feet

I previously purchased 2 pairs of Bondi 7s. I love the cushioned feeling on each of them. The Bondi 8s did not have the cushioned feeling, so I returned them. Why the difference?

I wish I could throttle the mastermind behind customer surveys. What a clever way to opt out of having to actually deal with customers. Send one email and if you don't get your survey, FO. This is the fourth email I've gotten asking me to review, so here goes: Blisters. Only shoes I've ever owned to give me 3 blisters inside a week. Toebox is obviously made for people with very wide feet and who land full heel with every strike. Went back to my Asics.

The way that the tongue is sewed in makes it impossible to fit.

Shoe was delivered soaking wet, smelled of some type of chemical cleaner and clearly used. It's as if someone decided to wash the shoe and threw it in a box (about 4x too big by the way). None of the normal packaging / paper to protect the shoe was included. I know it didn't happen during shipping since the box it was packed in was completely dry and didn't show any sign of water damage

I was made to believe that these shoes would fit. That's incorrect. These make Nike shoes feel wide. I ordered the 4E and I couldn't even get half my foot into these. These 4E shoes might as well be 2D. It's not a problem unique to Hoka, most shoes these days run 1-2 sizes more narrow than advertised. But for a company to be as inequitable on shoe widths in 2023, it does make me wonder where people are finding shoes that actually fit these days.
