I recently fractured my foot and when I asked my podiatrist about HOKA sneakers she gave them a thumbs up. I was wearing a boot at the time but it seemed to make my foot hurt even more. I started wearing my Hoka's everyday and when I went back to the dr she was very pleased at how well I was healing. That's when I told her the truth about wearing the Hoka's. She laughed and told me to keep on doing what I was doing as I was healing great.

I use these shoes for long walks and long days on my feet at work. The cushioning & comfort is amazing! My feet never get tired or hurt.

This is my second pair of Bondis, the first being the gender neutral I believe. I got those for average daily use so they were in my typical size. But since purchasing those maybe 2 years ago I've started walking for exercise (4+ miles per walk) so I needed to get a pair of shoes that were both larger and wider than my usual size to prevent further "runner's toe" incidents like the one I got wearing my regular size. (Also invested in good running socks and other gear after my crash course in physical fitness!) But these Bondi 8 shoes have been amazing. The material flexes nicely so there's no rubbing or constricting of the feet, and the sole is wonderfully plush so you don't feel any shock from pavement. Especially nice since I have sporadic knee pain so the plush soles prevent aggravation of that knee. I actually first tried out the Arahi 6 shoes but after a few walks my body and joints felt rough, so I returned them and got the Bondi 8s, which I almost went with in the first place since I already knew how great that style is. Cannot recommend these enough for people with leg joint and/or back pain. The soles are plush and thick so expect them to maybe feel a bit taller than your standard athletic shoe, but the soles on this Bondi 8 model spread nicely so I feel there's more stability than my other pair. I'd say these are true to size. The Bondi in general feels pretty roomy to me in the toebox, so getting a wide width to accommodate feet swelling from walking only makes them that much more comfortable. I have somewhat wider than average feet but the regular width in the Bondi (and most other Hokas I've had) has always worked for me as a regular daily wear shoe.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my son this Christmas. He needed a new pair after participating in a 1/2 marathon & much wear otherwise. He was thrilled.

The cushion of the shoe felt great, but the challenge was in the rest of the fit (for me). I tried both regular & wide versions, but neither fit. The regular width was too tight on my toes & forefoot, yet the wide had too much heel movement. I tried going up a size (for the regular width) & down a size (for the wide), yet I still ended up with lots of hot spots on my right foot. Sadly I had to return (and will go back to Altras which have a wider forefoot, if not the same cushion as these shoes).

These are my first pair of Hoka shoes. They were recommended to me from a bunch of people from a specific group on Facebook. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it has really affected my feet, along with a bunion. I have a lot of pain walking and sanding for long periods of time. I ordered wide width to accommodate the bunion and was disappointed that they are no wider than normal sneakers. I will try another paid and order the WWide next time...Very well made and cushiony. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my purchase.

Probably the most comfortable pair of athletic shoes I've ever owned. Supportive in all the right places. I bought them primarily in the hopes of mitigating heel pain from plantar fasciitis and they are definitely helping tremendously. I was also really pleased that HOKA offers my size at all (Mens 16) because they're notoriously tough to find. I will almost certainly buy another pair in another color just for variety. And I can only hope that someday HOKA ventures into casual dress footwear as well. A pair of oxfords that feel and fit like these Bondi 8's would be a slam-dunk!

I love all Hoka brand products that I have purchased so far. 8 pairs of different shoes from road running, hiking and trail running shoes. These Bondi 8 wides feel a little narrow at my arches.

These shoes are so comfortable. With really wide (5E) feet it is hard to find great fitting shoes. The Hokas definitely fit the bill!!!

I have had my Biondi about two weeks and raely take them off. It has literally eliminated chronic foot pain that I've been suffering from for five years, a pain that four podiatrists were unable to resolve. I am now looking for Hoka hiking boots, golf shoes and sandals.

Super comfy! I work in a warehouse & walk about 4/5 miles each day, climb stairs (4 floors up/down). No ache or pains. This is not the lightest shoes for sure. I have Clifton 7,8 and Mach 4. Those are light weight shoes.
Over all I'm extremely happy with Bondi 8.
