These shoes have a great bounce when I run up and down a basketball foor as a high school official. Very light and yet great cushion. Legs don't get tired. Knees and hips don't hurt.

This is about my 10th pair of Bondi shoes. I am 71 years old and I like the extra cushion the shoes give me as well as the wider width. The best shoes for running and walking.

I need these shoes to walk because of arthritis. There is a bit of fabric at the top of the heal that rolls under making them difficult to put on that my last pair, which were not as good a fit, did not have and you could just slide your foot into.

This is my second pair of Hokas and I so far throughly enjoy the extensive cushioning effect on impact with any surface. Three years ago, I had a two level spinal fusion and want to avoid adjacent segment syndrome, the inevitable consequence of altering the physics of supplanting two vertebrae and two discs with a new solid single bone (grown internally from implanted bone grafts from a hip bone). So far, I believe the Hokas help diminish the effect of shifting stresses to other vertebrae above and below the removed vertebrae.

First pair, and they're very comfortable!! I haven't bought a pair of sneakers in years that actually have a arch support inside!! Didn't think they made it anymore.

I love many things about this sneaker... I love the wide platform and the soft ride and even the looks. I am not a runner but a walker with bad knees and PF so these are great for those issues. The sole is as soft as any shoe I've ever worn yet they're very stable. The toe-box is wide and roomy and the heel locks in nicely as well. The uppers are comfy yet stable. The ONLY flaw is the midfoot is narrow, and the instep has a curve in that digs into the inside arch of my foot. And I wear a 4E wide so this is as wide as it gets. I have 4E in Asics and Kuru, and NB and Adidas etc... which are not nearly as wide, and even the Bondi 7 did have have this issue. The longer I wear them the less it bothers me as the foam breaks in and softens there so it does get better... however it is still a concern that over time it will return...time will tell... But even with that flaw the shoes are great and I'm sure that is not something many people will have problems with. Overall a 4/5 because of that issue.. otherwise great shoes.

True disappointment for this lover of HOKA sneakers. I have bought 2 pairs of Bondi 7 black 8 1/2 4e and fit great. Bought a pair of gray Bondi 7 8 1/2 4e fit great. Excitedly ordered Bondi 8 and have realized after couple of weeks they are not cut like the Bondi 7. Very disappointed as they are a fantastic looking sneaker

First of all, I am not a runner, but have worn cushioned running for years for walking and when I am on my feet. The brand I wore previously changed and the new cushioned model was too narrow in the forefoot and toe box. I researched shoes and read good things about Hoka, so decided to give them a try. Thanks to Hoka's 30 try policy, I was able to try a couple of pair until I found the perfect shoe. The cushioning is superb, with plenty of room for my orthotics. The Bondi 8 is my new favorite shoe.

Great shoes, however customer service and the outrageous $10 shipping charge played a big part in our overall satisfaction. Going to try to only purchase HOKA shoes through a different retailer for these reasons.

I power walk at least 125 miles per month. I got my first pair of HOKA's (Bondi 7) earlier this year and wore them out. The cushioning is superb.

The Bondi 8 were too narrow in the heel, made my heel feel sore. And heel felt too high.

I brought my first pair for work and since then I've purchased two more work types, one pair of running shoes for me and one for my girlfriend. So yes, HOKA gets my highest recommendation!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes that I have been able to tolerate, not just tolerate but enjoy wearing.

Soft foot fall very comfortable. I expected more lateral stability to keep from rolling ankles, especially with such a wide base. Took some getting used to.

I use the shoes to do a daily walk. I have two pair of the Bondi 7 in 4E and they are real comfortable. I bought this pair of Bondi 8 in 4E and it is not wide enough. It hurts my feet. I do not like the feel of the Bondi 8 on my foot, as well as I do the Bondi 7.
