I like the shoes, it feels comfortable more then shoe other shoe brands I have tried. My only concern is the arch could be just tad more supportive. I use these on cement floor all day, it has helped with my plantar fasciitis, and I will continue to but this brand of shoe.

These shoes are fantastic! I wear them with an orthotic (if you do also then size up one full size) and they're as cushiony and comfortable as one could imagine. They're more comfortable than any other I've tried save for a pair of Brooks, but these are more plush. Nothing negative except that in very cold weather, you can feel the cold coming through a little, but otherwise nothing negative. You

I was so excited for these shoes to arrive. The day they arrived, I went out for a walk and they pinched my foot in multiple spots. I have large bunions and these shoes are not good for large bunions. These were returned!

Pros: Great design, especially for wide feet, the platform supports my shoebox fit really well, unlike other brands where the width is only in the upper, not the sole of the shoe. They have great cushioning, and do exactly what they need to do for their stability. Wonderful color that stays even during cleanings. Cons: Wish they came in waterproof for the shoes, and had a more durable sole Note: I originally got some Speed Goat 5s, and loved the traction, but the seam ripped on the side, and even though they didn't meet the original vendors' return policy Hoka gave me a credit on their site for the price I paid Overall: You get great customer service and satisfaction when you buy a pair of these shoes, do you want a little more for the price you pay, sure, but for the selection, build, and lifetime ownership and the relationships they build, they more than make up for it

More stable than the Bondi 7, but not as cushy. . .I do like how one's for rolls forward more.

Very comfortable base with lots of cushion. The only thing I noticed was the mesh sides would pivot my feet to the lateral sides of the shoes I ended up purchasing an insole with firm support to keep my arch in place. Other than that.very comfortable and durable. As a nurse in the ICU, I like HOKA!

I have foot problems related to diabetes. Finding a comfortable shoe and a wide enough one is a must. The HOKA Bondi 8 did not disappoint. This is my first pair of HOKA shoes, but it will not be the last.

I suffer from constant back pain and exercise, like walking, has been a problem for many years. Since I got my Hoka's it like walking on a pillow without losing any stability. I won't say it's remedied my back pain totally but I'm able to walk 3 miles each day.

I LOVE the cushioning in the Bondi model; I've been buying Bondi shoes since Bondi 2; somewhere around Bondi 5 or 6 (?) the toe box became less rounded and more oval, such that my smaller toes were being pinched, even though I have always bought the wide width shoes. I decided for this purchase to try the men's wide width in a length comparable to my women's size; it's a tiny bit better, but not quite enough wider in the toe box area. (The extra wide was not available in my size/length, unfortunately.) Please bring back the more rounded toe box!

Just bought my fifth pair of HOKA. I really like the plush style. I have found that HOKA shoe size is typically one size smaller than other brand shoes I've purchased in the past. HOKA also seems to be a bit narrower than other brand shoes. Knowing that I need a size larger and wider fit, HOKA shoes are perfect for walking. I've referred these shoes to many people.

The new vertical heel loop (vs. old horizontal ones in previous Bondi models) is more difficult to use & appears to be more cheaply made. Also, it looks like the edge of the eyestay above the tongue is simply glued together, which seems inferior to previous models where the edge is stitched.

I noticed what seems like a design change on the Bondi 8. The tongue is attached to one side of the upper with a strip of fabric. I don't know if this what makes it so hard to get my feet into these shoes, but I have to loosen the laces 4 holes down, and it's still more difficult than putting on the Bondi 7s.

Light and comfortable but can be on the pricey end. Is it worth the price? Maybe. But need more selection of colors and styles.

When a competitor of Hoka was sold they went narrow and pointy. I went through several brands trying to find an alternative. My foot is shaped like one after years of wearing light weight, ergonomic designs. Don't be fooled by the little point they stuck on the end for flair. If you get your appropriate size your toes will be safe. I walk for miles each day on hard surfaces. This shoe may feel a little firm when you first put it on, but after a trip or two you'll realize how much cushion it provides when you walk on such surfaces. It's built for the long haul. Best of all, the black leather SR version is an excellent shoe for most professional environments. So if it works you have alternatives for all occasions.

I have been looking for a shoe or shoe/orthotic combination to help with foot pain. The problem starts with plantar fasciaitis and has grown with some neuropathy and a bunion. I have tried specialty shoes and many combinations. Both these and the Cliftons, though not necessarily designed for this, have provided the most comfort and relief. I normally take a size 9 but on my first pair returned for a 9.5 wide and they are perfect with a little room for an orthotic if I want or that bunion. Felt like they did run a tad small.

I thought that Bondi would have been the plushest of the Hoka road running shoesbut in comparison to Clifton 9, Bondi 8 is slightly heavier and noticeably less plush. Not sure if my pair is just a dud or whether the sole will get softer in warmer summer weather, but right now I feel like I should have only purchased the Clifton 9. It's the best AND plushest Hoka road running shoe in my opinion.
