When my bondi 7 wore out I was disappointed I could not find another in my size, but decided to go with the bondi 8 instead. I was not able to try them on as no one in town carried my size. I was happy that they were available in 4E now so I ordered them on line. They are not the same or even close to the same, I thought at first they just need a little breaking in but worth each day my feet felt worse. The bondi 7 were like a miracle for me as I am on my feet 10+ hours a day but I cannot even get through 4 hours now without my feet hurting so bad. I ended up going to the store and finding a different brand of shoe to wear. Bring back the bondi 7 and I will wear them again but I cannot wear the bondi 8 any more. Such a waste on money.

I own about 6 pair of Hoka and love them but l just purchased my 2nd pair of Bondi 8 and like the first one they hurt the sides of my big toes. I love Hoka but not the Bondi 8. I definitely will purchase Hokas again.

Just received my first pair of Hokas and they are wonderful! Went for a 3 mile walk outdoors and they felt great the entire time. I even feel a little taller. Gotta love that!

Walking.too many issues to go into in writingbut one is your return method that has me not wanting to trudge back to the long line at the post office to return both pair for a replacement. I have a shipping department at work for FedX and UPS and if I could return and not have to pay I would make efforts to get shoes that are right. Been a pain and very expensive and time consuming.

Customer service and the shoe are great! I bought this shoe for my husband and it so happens that he has flat feet. The arch in the shoe bother his foot and he was not able to use it. Unfortunately, we had to see another brand. I use Bondi's and I love them. I'm on my 3rd pair. They are great for me and my foot format.

Thought these would be even better than the Clifton 9.but nope. They may cost more, but definitely not more comfortable. They appear to have more cushion than the Clifton 9 but they are "harder". Not impressed.

A well made shoe. I'm still working on stretching them out some. I wear a 15 extra wide, so I'm stretching a pair of 15 wides. Great cushioning for troubled feet. I feel a slight pinch in the arches, most likely due to my having flat feet.

I love these shoes very supportive. I have plantar fasciitis in both heels. Shoes are great but just a little tight. I wish they made extra extra wide (6E) width and these would be the best walking shoes on earth. I have worn these for 2 to 3 weeks and I am hoping they loosen up a bit and break in more.

Best shoe I've ever found for working and walking around in a city. I have plantar faciitus and used to use super feet in keens then I paid hundreds of dollars for custom insoles from a podiatrist and none of that has compared to the pain-free life I live now with these shoes. I only wish the area around the inside heel would be a stronger fabric so the shoe would last longer than a year. Also De-gender the shoe sizing.

These were recommended by my orthopedics to help me with a dropped arch. I use them for work. While the arch support does work as advertised, I find the fit to be too roomy in the width, and they DO NOT BREATHE! My feet are soaking wet at the end of the day. I'd really like to say I'm happy with these but you have me searching for another option.

Like the styling but the shoes are narrow. I am going to try a wider version.

I would say this is a perfect shoe, at least for me. The padding seems perfect. I have ran outside on it, ran on a treadmill, and walked outside. In each of these conditions, my knees have had no strain and felt good after the run. I have plantar fasciitis but with these shoes the symptoms have gone away. The width of the shoe is perfect; my foot doesn't feel cramped and feels well supported. This is my first time trying the Bondi model as previously I had gotten the Clifton. I bought both the new Bondi and the new Clifton, and like the Bondi much better though both are great shoes. I would say this is the best shoe I have ever owned. I started running before Nike existed, and I remember my first pair of Nike Waffle Trainers which were far superior to anything out there at the time. I feel the same way about these Bondi's, that they are far superior to any shoe that I have ever worn in a running career that has lasted 50 plus years so far.

Left shoe feels great!!! I'm going to buy a toe bix stretcher for the right shoe. Bought wide, but I guess right foot is eider than left.

I am an avid runner and for the past 30 years I have used Asic. Great shoe and treated me well until I broke my foot. After recovering ASICS didn't fit the same!!! A friend recommended Hoka and I thought "what the heck" Tried on several different models and the Bondi was the one!!! Best shoe for comfort and stability.

Due to the orthotics I have to use, I have to buy men's size to get the needed width. I have purchased many pairs of the Bondi style which seems to work best. Exterior on this version seems about 1/2 " longer and wider than same size of previous versions I have purchased. Make my feet look bigger than ever. However, they do not slide on my heel, and comfort-wise walking seems to be the same so far, so I am keeping them.

Helps manage tendonitis issues in my left foot. My only negative is that the Bondi 8 style is the only men's HOKA that comes in the X-Wide width. For someone with a wide foot I would like to see more style options.
