These shoes are incredibly comfortable very lightweight and extremely durable. I've been wearing the Bondi 8s for the past 2 years and have zero plans on switching to a different shoe. will definitely purchase again and yes I absolutely recommend these shoes .

Bondi 8 is my favorite shoe. Very comfortable for all day wear, walking parks, shopping, etcetera. I have 6 or 7 pairs in different colors.

I don't run anymore due to chronic fasciitis in my right heel. These HOKA brand right now are the best brand I have found to feel much more comfortable!

Many Podiatry and Ortho Providers recommend this reasonably supportive, very padded, yet firm footwear to help with impact pain from arch disease and ankle/foot osteoarthritis. Particularily the Bodi 8 series due to the wide toe-bed sole area. I feel like I'm walking in a well suspended Jeep over uneven ground. Couldn't be happier with these.

Love this shoe, I used the heck out of it and burnt it out in about like 9 months. To be fair I am putting about 8K steps a day on them with no breaks. I use it on a treadmill and on asphalt daily. Very comfortable and has made my big toe pain disappear. The only complaint I have is that it seems like the soft shoe bottom material deteriorates too easily, but I am sure that's the trade off for comfort.

I believe the Bondi is just a bit narrower than the Clifton. Lesson learned.
I'd also recommend:

Although these Bondi 8's fit the shape of my foot better than the Cliftons I'm currently wearing, the soles were harder, and I'm needing a softer, nore cushioned shoe due to some neuropathy. Reading the reviews it seemed the Bondi's would be more cushiony than they are, so I'm returning them, as they don't work for me. Thank You, Thank You, Zappos, for your amazing selection of shoes and sizes, incredibly fast shipping times, and free shipping and returns. I'm grateful!! :)

I finally decided to buy a pair of Hokas after hearing that they are one the best shoes on the market. My experience was complete disappointment. This shoe is marketed as being one of the most comfortable cushioned shoes to wear. Instead, it felt like I was walking bare foot on concrete. The toe box was terrible because the top of it was stitched incredibly tight and I could barely get my toes into the front of the shoe, and I have small feet. When I bought these online, their system asks what shoes I have worn (Sketchers) and did a comparison and stated that I should buy the same size Hoka shoe, which I did. The length of the shoe was spot on but that was the only thing that was. I returned the shoes the same day I received them. I'll stick with my comfortable shoes at half the price of Hokas.

My shoes squeak when I walk with them. They are the Bondi 8 black and white.. Never had this happens before. I have been wearing HOKA's since 2016. I have gone through many pairs as I am a a runner.

I have been buying Hoka Bondis since they had the Bondi 5. Since then, the quality has gone down with each iteration. I just bought a pair of Bondi 8, and they are no better than my old shoes, some more than a year old. The toebox is very uncomfortable, which makes the shoes uncomfortable. I only use them for walking, but I can't walk very long in these shoes. So it is finally time to find a different brand.

So comfortable. I also like that they are all black without bright white reflectors, so they blend in when I wear them for casual dress up.

I purchased a pair of these in May of 2024 and they started breaking down within 4 months. The upper mesh is not very durable and has stretched especially over the toe box area. To the point where it causes the foot to shift towards the outside pushing out and over the shoe. The soles seem to have lost their bounce and comfort as the sole material has completely started to lose its firmness and stability. Currently I'm going to try a Leather Upper HOKA and see if this will offer more stability than the mesh.

I bought these and the Bondi 7 and liked them both, after a couple weeks of wearing I ended up choosing the Bondi 8 as they were slightly more comfortable and looked better. Then I liked them so much I ordered a 2nd pair some weeks later So what's not to like? After about 6 weeks of wear (walking 2-3 miles/day, nothing strenuous at my age) the shoes already lost a lot of their support and got very spongey. In comparison to the newer pair I could really feel how they were wearing out quickly. I looked at the treads and saw they were completely worn down in many spots. I am somewhat large at 6'4' and 200lbs but have never worn out a pair of shoes in 6 weeks before, even years back when I used to jog. I returned the first pair as it was within the 60 day period, will see how the 2nd pair do I still need one more pair and am not sure if I should get another Bondi 8 or wait and see if a new one comes out (I did order a pair in a different color and when they arrived they felt nothing like the other shoes of the same model so that tells me quality control is lacking) Other notes - I don't have a wide foot but needed a wide in both Bondi 7 and 8. My older Hokas are all regular width and still fit just fine. Also I don't like the tongue on either the Bondi 7 or 8, too padded and too long
