Super comfortable and glides thru the air

The HOKA Bondi 8 was recommended by a close friend who is also a doctor. He strongly recommended that I purchase my first pair about 3+ years ago. He also wears the Bondi 8. Since that first purchase, I have been a loyal HOKA customer having purchased multiple pairs over the last couple of years. They make a major difference in how my feet feel. Thank you!

I'm on my feet all day... Hoka gives me the best protection against impact during running and jumping... Not to mention that the customer service support is second to none... Once you try a pair on you're going to be sold on them permanently.

Have had several pairs of Hoka's but toe box felt very narrow had to send them back.

I'm an avid Jogger who puts in over 1000 miles a year on the road. I used to run in Bondi several years ago and switched to the Clifton style of Hoka wanting to have a little lighter shoe. I ran in Clifton 6, 7. & 8's and loved the shoe. However, When Hoka changed the formula for Clifton ( the new form was nowhere as plush. I mean they were hard). I did develop some plantar fasciitis in my left foot and needed more cushion so my solution was to run in a Clifton 8 on my left foot and a Arahi 7 & the new Bondi on my right foot. I looked a bit odd with an orange shoe on my left foot and a gray shoe on my right foot, however, It worked perfectly. Here's where the Bondi came in. I thought running in the Bondi would help with the cushion, since the previous ones I wore were great, just a bit heavy. I bought the new Bondi and I'm disappointed. They feel like Clifton 9's. They are hard. They use the same type of form that are in the latest Clifton's. I feel that Hoka has experimented and/or changed the formula to a point that I'm going to actively start looking for alternative running shoes, yes and this is after purchasing a couple of dozen pair of Hokas in the past decade. I'm not against not recommending them to friends because they may not have the same issues that I have. Hoka has been my favorite for years and I hope that someone else has better success than I did in my latest pair.

I just purchased the Bondi 8 shoe from Hoka because I bought a pair some months ago in size 10 (my regular size), and they have been perfect and so comfortable. So, I decided I wanted another pair of Bondi 8 in the same size 10 that I previously bought. I received my new pair about two weeks ago or less and put them on and they felt a little snug but pretty comfortable. I walked around the house in them and the next day decided I would take them outside for a good walk. Well, I don't know what's different about these Bondi 8 than the pair I bought some months back, but these new ones are uncomfortable and my feet hurt and I couldn't wait to get back home and get out of the shoes. I don't understand what's different about the Bondi 8 and the Bondi 8 that I bought months ago that are so comfortable. I thought that Bondi 8 would be my purchase from now on, but now I'm not sure if I would ever buy another pair of these Hoka. I would have returned them had I not worn them outside, but I guess these will be my closet Hoka's as I've tried them twice now and they hurt my feet. I felt like they should have been the same as my first pair.

I have been wearing Hoka shoes for years. It helps me on my back and balance.

I really like my Bondi8 hoka's they are so comfortable and keep you foward as you walk!!

I am an emergency room nurse and am on my feet all day. I average about 20,000 steps a day. These shoes are a life saver. I can't recommend these high enough. I will also add that the customer service is top notch. I had a pair of shoes that squeaked. I called, spoke to a real person, and a replacement shipped the same day! Outstanding!

I have purchased my 3rd pair of Hoka's and I absolutely love them. I will continue to be loyal to Hoka!!

They arrived with an orange stain on one shoe but my partner wears them to work & says they're the most comfortable shoes he's owned so far & has less joint pain. They arrived very quickly.

Everyday wear, a lot of standing. Good arch support, did not need an insert. And good-looking

Ordered my usual size but they were too tight, an easy no coast return. Hoya quickly shipped the next larger size which were fine as to length but a bit tight. Had to open up the tight laces, then wore them in the house with thin socks for a bit. After a day tried them with the thicker gym socks and they feel great! Initial impression as I've only had this pair a few days. So, if @ 1st you do not succeed, then try again

Excellent stability for big toe issues such as Hallux Rigidus.

My main criteria is cushion. I expected more. I don't care about stability. I run on the road a lot, and I value cushion more than anything else. The shoe is good otherwise.

I love my Bondis, had several pairs. I gave this one star less than perfect because one thing they changed with 8 is this tongue piece that if you wear orthodic like many people, forces the shoe tongue sideways, so I always end up having to cut it which is a pain. Not sure what this is supposed to acheive but please remove it in future designs, just sayin :)

Idk how this is for running and everyday walking but it's stiff and hard sole makes it less likely to serve for daily long days The tight grip might loosen with adjustment
