The shoe is plush and comfortable to walk and work in, a bit bouncy. I dont run so cant comment on that. Its neutral in its form. On a scale of 10, I would say around 8.5 in terms of how soft and cushy it is. Its not ultra soft, pillowy. In size and heft, its pretty huge, both in terms of how high it is and how wide it is. Took some getting used to... its pretty huge. I am happy with it. The experience itself wasnt ideal... bought it on sale, only to see the price drop even more right after Christmas. I called the local Hoka store but they were not able to help. Basically told me to return the shoe and buy it again at the cheaper price, which seems like a pretty big waste for Hoka. Wish they would fix this issue.

I did extensive research to find there perfect shoe for a job with a lot of standing and walking. This came up on every search as the top one. I found the toe box narrow and the area where the arch is to be extremely narrow with the arch support having a sharp edge that will cut into your foot. I returned one pair I bought locally and ordered from HOKA thinking maybe it was a bad pair. Nope, the second ones were ever worse. I gave up. Now I see the Bondi 9 comes out tomorrow. I will try them on to see if they are any different. Too sad.

I work on a concrete floor all day and i was told that these make a big difference. i have used these for two weeks and i dont see a big difference at all, sorry

As someone with plantar fasciitis, this hoka shoe has helped greatly. In addition to wearing a Hoka shoe at work, Kuru mens sandals at home, and Nike air max 270 at the gym my plantar fasciitis is improving . Also, I roll out my calves every morning and roll out the arch of my foot on a studded foot roller.

I began wearing Hoka Bondi sneakers a couple years ago on my orthopedic surgeon's recommendation. I wore the Bondi 7 for about a year and have worn the Bondi 8 for almost 2 years. I have loved them all. They are stable, comfortable and wear VERY well. I love all of the different color combination choices. Thank you Hoka!

Worth every dollar. The only shoes that keep my 72 year-old feet and knees from hurting when walking our pup. And maybe most importantly, the shoes are ORANGE!

Nothing against the Bondi 8's but they were not right for me. I previously purchased a pair of Gaviota 5's and they were best shoes I've ever owned. I thought I'd try a different model but they did not live up so I've exchanged them for another pair of Gaviota 5's. My rating is on my experience but I rate Hoka 5 star and especially the Gaviota 5's.

Very cushiony shoe that takes some time getting used to. I normally wear Asics trail shoes as they are supportive of my high arch and relieve the plantar fasciitis. I thought I'd try these as a friend said that they are the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. When you first put them on, the upward angle of the heel makes me feel like I want to fall backwards which is unnerving. The shoes are quite large as well and my wife says that they look like clown shoes. The foot bed is quite soft and thick but doesn't feel supportive and so I am going to try them with orthotics. Without orthotics, I don't think that I could wear them for a long period of time. These are also very expensive and for the same sale price, I was able to purchase two pairs of Asics. I think that I will stick with Asics to tell you the truth - more supportive and half the price.

Used the sizing chart online but the shoe feels a bit tight. Back of shoe digs into heel. The shoe is comfortable and light.

The shoes are extremely comfortable and are incredible looking. These are at least my 5th pair of HOKAs, which I use for normal day-to-day wear and a separate pair for my walking / hiking. I chose the Bondi because of the excellent tread design -- for wet / slippery surfaces -- and the comfort.

I have really sore feet that produce horrible calluses, I've tried most brand shoes and many models, made to order inserts from the podiatrist and never got much relief. One year ago I started hearing about Hoka's and decided to give them a try and the problems with my feet are gone, as a bonus my lower back pain also decreased. Just received my second pair of Hoka Bondi 8's and couldn't be happier.

I recently fractured my 5th Metarsil and wore a boot supplied by my Orothopedic MD..... eventually he had me move away from the boot, and I asked about wearing Hoka running shoe. He said I should try it. It's been amazing... no pain.... I am able to walk a lot and hope to start jogging soon. I love this Hoka product.

I work in a electronics warehouse and while being impressed with style of the shoes. I find them to be terribly uncomfortable to walk in all day. They cause me to have pain in my shoulders and I was certainly hoping they would be a keeper. They are not. Arch was uncomfortable.

I have Arahi 6, habits and this version of bondi and I like all three styles for casual walking These styles are very comfortable and my feet are never tired in the evening after wearing them all day. They have been a life changer!

Bought this product for more everyday support. Shoe is extremely comfortable and could feel instant comfort when I put them on. The size that was ordered was a little snug so returned for the next size and the return was absolutely seamless. This was my first purchase with HOKA but won't be my last.

This model is quite a bit narrower than any of the others I have purchased. It makes it feel too small.

I purchased these shoes because my previous Bondi 8 fit were outstanding. Unfortunately these are the same size Bondi 8 but are tighter. I am not happy with these shoes at all.
