The Bondi 8 shoe for men in size 10.5, EEEE is very comfortable; a bit of color is now present as my previous pair was dark gray and white. New colors are great.

This will be my 4th pair of the BONDI shoe for running, jogging and walking. The quality and price point have kept me returning to HOKA. I also participated in a test run near me which was beneficial to try a different style of HOKA. I would like the apparel but I try to keep my expenses in check. HOKA does a great job of having many different sponsored athletes that also inspire me in my fitness journey.

I started running in Bondis several years ago when Hoka was at Bondi 6. I was thrilled with them because my knee problems suddenly stopped completely. That has carried forward through the Bondi 7 and now the Bondi 8 is turning out to be a joy to run in too. I feel fully supported and propelled forward when I run. I have recommended Bondis to my friends and without exception they all are amazed at how great these runners feel. Several tell me they don't wear regular shoes anymore - only their Hoka Bondis.

I have developed rather severe metatarsalgia and, upon the advice of my orthopedic foot surgeon, was directed to buya pair of Bondi 6's. my timing was such that the Bondi eight was just released so I ordered that instead. The cushioning effect is incredible and very therapeutic with respect to unloading pressure on my metatarsals. Much less pain indeed. Apparently, this is the go to shoe for orthopedic foot surgeons. My son is also an orthopedic surgeon and tells me that many of his colleagues wear Hokas in the operating room. So, I am quite satisfied with the product. Would be nice if it came in all black as well.
(as an interesting aside, Karl Melzer's father is a friend of mine and recommended Hokas to me years ago)

bought the 4E; needed th extra room for orthotic; very stable with wider base than 7; felt like the upper is more rounded which in my view can narrow the toe box, but 4E does the trick. very comfortable for walking; have not tried running with them

Two noticeable changes from Bondi 7 and better in my opinion:
1. The outsole is bigger all around and provides better stability.
2. Cushioning is a little firmer.
I bought the x-wide (4E) and fit is comparable to the Bondi 7. Enough room for wide foot with high instep and high arch. Also added met pad under insole. Running about 700 miles per year and one marathon each year. Only improvement I would love is moving manufacture to the USA!

This shoe is the only one I can wear for pain relief. I have arthritis and bone fusions plus my feet are so tender I cannot walk on hard floors without support. I do remove the insole and replace with a better one to be able to lessen the issues. Still this shoe has become the only one I can wear for any length of time.

I love the comfort and stability. A friend recommended Hoka. I am so glad they did. Have been in other brands and by days end I need to get them off. Not with Hoka. Heaven sent shoes!!

There is only 1 thing that I do not like about the Bondi, that is the straps on the back of the shoe, I have to cut them off so my pants (jeans) will hang all the way down, not ride up.

I have wore Hoka Bondi's now for at least 4 years now. I have 8 pair. From the Bondi 6,7,and now the 8's. The best shoes for walking and light running I have ever owned. Have got a lot of people on my morning walk wearing them.

I probably have 12 pair of Hokas. I wish you would have a larger selection in wide. These are the best shoes I've ever had

I walk roughly 500 miles per year, taking mostly 2 mile walks at a very brisk pace of 14:45 per mile. My new Bondi 8 definitely feels like a step up from the Bondi 7, so much so, that I ordered a second pair. For comfort you aren't going to beat HOKA's & the Bondi 8 (Bondi 7 too), I would highly recommend this shoe.
