My podiatrist (who is a runner, too) suggested HOKA as a solution to my need for a "slipper" comfortable but supportive for wear around the home. As I prefer a "wider" footbed, I ordered from the men's/women's unisize section. I am very pleased with them, wearing them--sometimes with anklets, other times without.

I went from severe plantar fasciitis pain to hardly any pain at all when I wear my recovery slides. I originally bought a pair to wear in my house because I have hard wood floors. They were so good I bought another pair to wear outside.

I have crazy high arches, so could use a little more support even. Because of my high arches, I could use more room at the top of the slides, as well. Love the color and am wearing them quite a lot.

I can't walk barefoot for the foreseeable future and these make it feel like I'm walking barefoot. My fav things to put on every morning. They go with me everywhere I stay.. they're my indoor slippers.. I'm wanting more, but I'm not gonna lie super spendy but I understand why to an extent my feet rejoice though.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis and also have osteoarthritis in my feet. as well as flat feet. I've been looking for a slide that has a lot of cushioning and can mitigate the pain in my feet. Tried OOFOS and they were not a good fit for me......the toe bed was too angular and the arch support didn't feel comfortable. As soon as I slipped into a HOKA ORA recovery slide I knew I had found "home" for my feet. I now have this slide in 6 colors (black, white, fushia, grey, teal green, fushia). Wish they made them in navy blue as well.

Best shoes I have ever bought! I have had surgery on my foot for partial torn Achilles' tendon and plantar fasciitis. These shoes have helped my heel immensely!

I have two pair of the Women's slide sandals. One for inside and one for outside. They're the best thing for my troubled feet. I have seismoid pain (under ball of toe), arthritis and a high arch, these are amazing. But know that the Women's and All Gender are a little different! I exchanged an All Gender for the Women's, and couldn't be happier, they fit like a glove.

I had foot surgery 3 months ago and these work great for my swollen foot. They are wider than any of my other slides which is fine with me. I have a wider foot anyway. Besides my Hoka running shoes, these are the only other shoes I wear right now.

Since I have been advised to wear shoes in the house, I have been looking for something with support - and comfort. I tried another slide that was too big; so I returned it and ordered both the Hoka and Oofos slides, but in different sizes. SIZE DOES MATTER. I found it more helpful to me to use the EU sizing when comparing because I am a half size and some say to go up one size, others go down one size.
It is also a good idea to order more than one size or style at the same time; that way you can compare at the same time - and with such an easy return policy, what have you got to lose?
On my feet, the HOKA slide fit tighter (good thing) and had a significant amount of arch support. None of these shoes have comfortable soles, especially if you have sweaty feet, so you might have to consider wearing socks, which I might do in the cooler months, but not in this heat.
I still won't wear them going up and down steps since I am over 70 and can't afford to break anything! But I do feel that they help my foot and maybe even my back pain - and are better than bare feet on hardwood floors.

I wear a 12 in most shoes. A 12.5 in my Hoka Speed Goat 4s, and I ended up getting an 11 in the Ora slides. Super comfortable. Can wear w socks or without. The right color looks funky and cool w certain outfits. Would recommend for the comfort alone!

I ordered my Recovery Slides within minutes of trying on my daughter's pair. When I slipped them on, my knees said "ahhhhhhh". Why is that important? I have had both my knees replaced in the past four months. I was only two weeks out from my second knee replacement. I have found that I can move and walk longer with less discomfort if I'm wearing my slides. Women stop me in the grocery store and tell me how cute they are. I am not athletic. I am a 72 year old woman who just wants to walk and move without pain, and your shoes help. Thank you.

I wear an 8.5 in other shoes but thought this might run big with that wide strap. I bought an 8 but it was just too short. Returned them for a 9 and it’s much better. Not too long and the wide strap isn’t too big either. They make walking with a bothersome heel spur a bit easier. Pricey but worth it!

These are GREAT once I figured out my size. I've ordered them twice in my usual size and returned them. Then I ordered them 1 size smaller and Voila! Perfect! Supportive, comfortable and pretty sporty looking. I have them in Black and White and think they are pretty cool looking for how great they feel. Thanks Hoka for the reocvery options!

I love wearing slides on a daily basis, they're just so easy and versatile with whatever else you're wearing. They're the comfiest sandals I've ever worn. I also ordered a pair of work shoes too that are incredible. They do honestly look a bit orthopedic and grandma-ey but I don't care because I don't feel sore at the end of a long day anymore. On a side note though, I originally ordered the slides in size 8 which I am a true 8. They definitely run a little small. So I exchanged for a size 9.

I cannot say enough about these slides! I own in three colors - perfect for around the house or out and about. They saved me after plantar fasciitis and I've never looked back. I wish they came in more neutral colors (e.g., ivory, tan, brown). Buy them!!!
