I'm returning these to get a bigger size, but I'm not sure that'll help. They're a beautiful shoe but extremely narrow in the toe so buyer beware!

Just wore these for a few steep, loose hikes in relatively warm weather. They are super light, breathe well, and the traction is awesome. Runs a tiny bit large, with room for a sock with light cushioning. Already thinking about ordering a back-up!

Got these at the beginning of the week. Was immediately stoked on them. They're a little wide but we're initially very comfortable. I'm traveling full time starting next week so going through a major purge. These are now my only pair of athletic/hiking shoes (mistake). After 3 days of wear the cloth of the liner started bunching up making it really painful on my heel. When I noticed what was happening I immediately reached out to customer service because I'm in a time crunch. I really just needed an liner replacement, Essentially they needed me to jump through a bunch of hoops to *maybe* get a replacement pair so I'm having to go buy NEW liners for my brand new shoes. They're cute but probably my first and last time buying from hoka. (I looked everywhere locally for replacements, none of them carry these yet).

Love the cushioning in this shoe.
I'm 75 with foot issues and love to hike, this shoe has the cushioning I've been looking for! Also have Bondi SR and Bondi 8 for walking and love them also. More than likely the only shoe I will by for hiking and walking! Love them!!

Very comfy- usually 8.5, ordered a 9! Great support for all day wear. I have a regular foot- no pronation or supination tendencies.

I have a defective left foot due to a ruptured tendon, PTTD, no tendon to hold up my arch. I wear a hard boot inside my shoe to give me relief from pain and allows me to walk. Before I found HOKA my shoes where ugly. I would have to buy 2 sizes bigger and super extra wide. Only one foot is challenged so my right foot was swimming in the shoe to accommodate the boot on the left foot. When I tried on the Hoka Anacapa breeze in a 1/2 size bigger then I normally wear, it fit ,all I had to do was take the insert sole out. I was sooooo happy!!!! My right shoe fit well also. Finally had a nice looking and comfortable shoe to wear. I also went to Peru sporting my new beautiful shoes and hiked Machu Picchu. Thanks to my HOKAS Anacapa I was able to hike with ease and stability. Glad I crossed Machu Picchu off my bucket list.
I took a photo with my HOKAS, my boot and Machu Picchu in the background and sent it to my podiatrist.

I was nervous because a few reviews mentioned a slim toe box and I have slightly wide feet. I didn't find them to be narrow at all and I can spread my toes all the way out. They are so comfortable and the soles have a really nice shape to help push off. My arches feel very well supported and the grip on the soles is no joke! Great for me as I am a clumsy hiker. Also one of the best looking Hoka shoes in my opinion. Everyone said these run a little small but I also didn't find that to be the case, I ordered my normal size and they fit beautifully.

I love these shoes so much! True to size. Very comfortable and cute. I love the alabaster with fluorite mint combo! Cute for spring and summer and goes with so much. My usual size is 9 and I purchased the 9 and fit is perfect!

I've had a lot of shin splint problems because I am a dancer and live in NYC so do a lot of walking so I am always on my feet, but these shoes literally cured them and I haven't had feet issues since getting better shoes. Another thing is it is hard to find cute shoes that are also good for your feet but these are cute and amazing for those who walk a lot and are heavy on their feet!

I read that these ran small so I ordered a 10. I"m a solid 9.5. The 10s were way too big. I ordered the 9.5s and those are too big too. I've ordered a 9 now and hope those will be just right, but I don't understand why no one else has had this problem. I haven't been a size 9 for over 20 years. So strange!

HOKA Athletic Shoe is extremely supportive. Fast & easy to exchange due to sizing up 1/2 size.

I have a terrible time buying shoes that don't give me blisters, pinch my toes, too little support, not enough cushion for balls or heels of my feetthese fit like a dream! Have worn them inside and out to break them in. Had a few very long days outdoors and NO discomfort! These maybe the only active shoe brand I ever buy from again! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I am pretty brand loyal with my hiking shoes, but decided to take a chance on Hoka. Exceeded expectations, I hiked 20 miles the 1st time I wore them, no hot spots on my feet, super light weight, quick dry (we got stuck in a swampy area), excellent cushion. A little bit bigger then my other size 8s, but perfect for wool hiking socks.

Love the shoe and color! Been looking for hiking shoes for quite some time and so happy I chose this one. Will probably get the mid rise too once I start bigger hikes! I will say the sizing was off I ordered my normal size and it was way too big but the exchange process was easy!

These have become my primary sneaker since I bought them a few months ago. I love Hokas but I find they make my feet warmer than other brands. I've had Bondis, Cliftons, Kaha etc. (the old Kahas were cooler than the new versions that have a super thick tongue.) I'm so happy with these and hope they come out with black in women's (ideally with a contrast sole- the all black is always so heavy looking.) I have nerve issues in my left foot that are exacerbated by heat. If breathability is important to you give these a spin. They're awesome!

So bought these on rec from my ankle surgeon. I'm wearing a boot on one foot and the heel on these shoes is just high enough to match the boot height on the other foot. Very comfy shoe -I wear it every day!

The toe box on this shoe is a little bit narrow. kind of hurts my pinky toe and I really don't have a wide foot. otherwise they are cushy, just like other Hoka shoes.

I walk or hike everyday and Hoka works well for me. The latest pair I have needed to break them in on my right foot. I hike on some pretty steep and loose terrain and they grip the surface very well.

I have purchased at least 20 pairs of Hokas (running and hiking shoes) over the last 10 years. The 8.5 has always been perfect for me for both running and hiking. These shoes are great except for the downhill, as my toes touch the end. Same thing for my Kaha 2s. I ordered a Kaha 3 in a 9 but same issue.
