I mostly really love these shoes. They have kept my feet very warm so far in a pretty typical Chicago winter. I sized up a whole size and wear thicker socks. I havent had the chance to test them when theyre wet, but it seems like they will be fine for light commuting and walking around the neighborhood. They really hurt my feet though after a while...If you need cushioning or arch support, I would consider another boot.

Overall happy with these shoes. Very warm. Almost too warm for everyday indoor wear but perfect for the outdoors in winter. Runs just a little snug so if you plan on wearing thick socks and hiking resulting in swollen feet I'd go up a half size

These boots are warm, easy off n' on. I was on the fence if they would work for me as I have one foot larger than the other but adjusted the laces & wore them in the house for a few hours, perfect & true to size! I live in Minnesota and have found the greatest dog walking boots ever.

I'm really happy with these boots. They are so comfy and warm. I give them 5 stars for comfort, warmth and style. I gave them 4 stars only because they are a bit hard to lace. As you pull the laces tight and move on to the next group of laces to pull, the part you just tightened loosens up - so it takes a while. I think a remedy in the desin is to replace the lacing holes with about 3 rows of those skating-type clips (?) not sure what they are called. Those would make the lacing up so easy and the boots would stay just as tight as you need them to be - then they'd be perfect.

I love these boots! They are so functional and fashionable too. I normally wear an 11 because my feet are wide but 11's are normally a little big on me. These boots were actually a tad bit tight. So I would say to size up half a size to accommodate for socks. Otherwise, these boots have saved me from slipping on ice so many times already. Love their traction!

The toe box is very shallow. The laces are horid. They are wide cloth that goes through wide cloth loops so takes forever to adjust if you wear thick socks one day thin the next. I had to let the laces all the way out because there is so little fabric above foot. I'm 75 and never have had shoes or boots that were like this before. By leaving top hole empty the laces are long enough. They have been comfortable in the house, and will shop for better laces before the next symphony concert.

I purchased my new Women's Slopeside Village Omni-Heat Mid Boots and received them on 12/28/21. I live in NH and bought them to wear in the snow to keep my feet warm. When I tried them on, they were very comfortable and I enjoyed wearing them in the snow. However, I have not even worn them many times but the teal liner where you put your feet starting coming unattached the 3rd time I wore them. Every time I wear them, I need to try to put it back when it belongs but then sometimes it will shift while I'm walking which is uncomfortable for the soles of my feet. I did not expect that to happen at all, never mind that quickly. Soon I will need to take it out altogether and I'll probably buy a Dr. Scholl's insole to replace it. I have 2 pictures to show what I am referring to. Additionally, it looks like the stitching is starting to come out. And when you look at the sole, it's already starting to pull away (see 3rd picture). This is very disappointing as you expect better quality from Columbia, especially for the price of these boots. I have only had them a little over a month, but they look like I have had them for a year. I am concerned they will not last long and then I will be in search of a new pair of boots for next winter. At least the website provided notification they run small. I usually wear a 8.5 but ordered the 9 based on the reviews saying they run small. The 9 fit perfect.
