This shoe is exactly what I was looking for - a lace-up Oxford with a lug sole and a bit of a heel. They fit great and were comfortable right out of the box! Very pleased and it has become one of my fav shoes.

I purchased this shoe is brown. I actually like the shoe. It’s comfortable. My problem is with the chunky style. First, I’m an older woman who has limited style sense. I wanted to wear it for work, but I feel like I’m limited to the type of pants I can wear with this style of shoe. If I could wear jeans everyday it would be ok. For $100, I just can’t justify the price. Sadly returning.

Very happy, fit out of the box. Comfortable, good support. Nice little lift for a short girl without sacrificing all day wearability. Will purchase another color when available. Two weeks and kicking good shoe.

Great chunky style for warmth and comfort. I’ve worn these for long days of sightseeing when traveling and they are great.

Love these. Fit perfectly. Better with thicker socks. I usually wear size 9, high arch. Bought size 9 - they fit best with thicker socks, so are just slightly wide.

Love. These. Shoes. I wear a 9-9.5 in most shoes, with a slightly narrow foot. These fit nicely in a size 9 - best with thicker socks. With those, they fit perfectly. Bonus tip: these are great on snow and ice. I was walking around on both recently, and they didn't slip a bit. Even my boots don't perform this well. Don't miss out on these shoes.

I'd been looking for a traditional type brown Oxford shoe to no avail. When I saw the Eastland 1955 Edition Ruth, it was definitely the style I'd been looking for. Unfortunately, or so I thought, the shoe doesn't seem to be available in a wide width (I wear a 7W) and I thought I'd have to keep looking but I decided to try the 7.5M. The shoes arrived quickly and I tried them on right away, fully convinced they'd be too small width-wise. I was mistaken. The shoe fit width wise, as does as does the heel (I'm not slipping out of them). The only area that might be questionable for some is the top of the shoe where the laces get tied -- it does feel a little snug but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I've worn these several time and am happy with them. The support is better than I thought it would be too.

I have difficult feet to fit. Bunions. One foot worse than the other. These shoes have a nice roomy toe box that accommodate both feet. Also very cool looking. Don’t feel like I’m wearing “old lady shoes”.

Beautiful shoe! Width is perfect for my slightly wide feet. My heals are narrow but there’s no slipping. (Clark’s always slips in the heels on me.) I wear 71/2 or 8 depending on the shoe. Went with an 8 because I plan to wear cold weather socks and the fit is perfect. I wore them all day right out of the box, and they were a little bit stiff, but I can tell they’ll get better with time. I’ve been searching for this style shoe to wear with wide leg pants which are so trendy right now. Wish they had Black as well because I would certainly buy them.

I loved the fit of this shoe, totally comfortable out of the box. I just ordered the same shoe in Black. They have just enough of a boost with the heel height that I love. Fit was just as expected for the size.

These shoes looked great for work and for the weekend, and were immediately comfortable to wear all day. I will be looking out for this brand in the future!

I have been looking for quite some time for a shoe just like these. They fit well right out of the box. I have a narrow foot and have difficulty finding a proper fit without the heel slipping and these do not slip. The leather upper looked different than the photo online thus the 4 star review. It's not bad it just looks a bit different. The arch is sufficient but there is no cushioning in the sole of the shoe and may therefore cause fatigue with prolonged walking. Overall, I really like the shoes and the price was hard to beat.

A beautifully styled shoe with high quality leather uppers. Unfortunately, not a comfortable heel for me, so I'm returning them.
