These had an interesting zip that was only up to the middle of the boot. It was a little awkward to get on but zipped easily even with 18” calves. They were a little big around my foot which was ok. The hard part was they were immediately scrunching all around the awkwardly placed zipper with a less-than-desirable look.

Beautiful boot but needs full zipper! Fits true to size but hard to put on! I have the Penny boots but was wanting a wide calf and bought these. Back they go!

Love these boots. Super comfortable and look great. They have a zipper near the bottom that is helpful when putting them on. I would recommend these boots.

Received these boots as a Christmas gift...absolutely love them. They fit and felt great the minute I slipped them on. I conditioned the leather and wore them in the cold and snow. Still look amazing. Perfect gift

Great wide calf boot. I'm short (5'2) and the boot hits right below my knees. I also have wide feet so the boots were a little tight at first but broke in nicely after the first wear.

I was not disappointed, this is an excellent product! Beautiful boots, exceptionally well made!
Packaged beautifully , which I use for storing these boots.
I purchased wide calf, at 16", it just zips very snug, which is the only drawback ...
I don't believe this company understands what "wide-calf" actually really means; or what that entails in a boot. I think they're missing out on a whole other group of consumers. When I look at your models they're all skinny and very young... 'Somebody', needs to do some more market research ... There's us big girls out here who would love your gorgeous boots on their extra wide calves just saying'

Ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. The shaft is wide enough for my 17” calves to fit wearing jeans. Love these. Absolutely worth the investment.

These boots are beautiful but I cannot pull them over my calf. Normally wide calf boots fit me. Would not recommend these boots if you don't have tiny skinny legs.

How hard would it be to make a full zipper on these boots? Have the Penny boots needed wide calf so thought I'd try these and these were not wide calf they were regular calf in wide calf box. Very disappointed.

It appears that when this boot was packaged that a normal shaft boot was placed in a wide shaft box. When I measured the boot in the widest area it was nowhere near the 18" it was advertised to be.

The fit questions are a mess for boots. Returned because my 18" calf didn't fit a 9...Sure I can get it in, but the elastic on it is stretched and over ten minutes you can feel circulation interrupted. I needed them to be a couple inches taller to be close to knee high where I wanted them. Instead the end mid calf and make my legs look fatter. What really makes them a no go (not ordering larger) is that the lining inside with the elastic...junk. If they were pure leather with no lining they would have been beautiful, but with the lining the leather doesn't form to your leg and it rumples when it need not everywhere but the elastic section...so cheap looking as a result. Really sad because otherwise they were nice leather, color, heel...
