Purchased 7 wide. Plenty of room width-wise and through the toe box. Runs a bit long. Arch support is great, as with all Bionic shoes. Good traction on the sole. Where this falls short is in the cushion of the footbed. It is VERY firm, and offers zero shock absorbsion. I have tried adding gel-type cushion insoles, but they alter the fit. For the money and they are marketed for walkers, they really should have much more cushion. Overall- I'm disappointed.

I ordered the medium width, but they are way too wide. Sorry I will have to return them.

These shoes are good if you like the heavier feeling of an athletic shoe but I still much prefer the Tokyo style over this one.

Bought these to replace previous pair which were perfect. New pair way too small!

First let me say I love Vionic and own several pair. However this was my first purchase of sneakers. I bought the yellow in a 7.5. Been looking for yellow sneakers for some time and when I saw these I ordered right away. When I opened the box I was thrilled with them. But when I took out of the box I noticed they were a bit heavier than I expected. Upon putting them on they felt very stiff but are true to size. They are way to stiff to my liking however I did not return them. I'm hoping they will loosen up a bit over time. But will have to force myself to wear them more often. Only wearing to match an outfit now. Having said all this, I still would recommend the shoe.

I had to return these. Although they were sturdy and the support was nice, there was no breathability with these shoes. My feet were so hot and uncomfortable. I just wore them around the house to make sure they were comfortable before wearing them outside, but could only keep them on for an hour. I live in my Relax Terry slip on slippers around the house and I love the flip flops, so I was hoping for these to be successful. Unfortunately I had to return them. I did deal with pretty bad plantar fasciitis in the past so am very careful about what I put on my feet.

Can we please have some size standardization between sizes? I'm sure it would cut down on returns A LOT! These are probably my 20th pair of Vionic brand footwear, after starting with the Tide flip flop and adding dressier sandals, running shoes, walking shoes, and booties. These are by far the sloppiest fit shoes of all, forcing me to pull the laces super tight so the eyelets almost touch, and my feet have never been called narrow! The arch isn't as high as my other Vionic shoes, so buyer beware if you need it. Also, I ordered the color "stone," which look much darker in the online pictures; what I got looks more like what was once a white shoe but got dirty over the years, right out of the box.

I have purchased other Vionic shoes which I have been happy with, however this shoe runs large. Will return to replace.

I needed another pair of the Walker Classic and purchased the same size (10M) as my previous pair. I have worn a 10M for years except in Vionic flip flops which run large. I put the new Walkers on and my big toes felt like they were resting on an incline. When I started walking my toes hit the front of the shoe. They just feel short. Of course they are out of the purple (AGAIN) in the next size up with no restocking date given. I'm also afraid a 10.5M might be too long. Now I'm not sure what to do. I need a walking shoe for work and my daily walks to help my plantar fascitis stay controlled. I don't like shopping so when I find something that works I like to stick with it. Guess I'll search around to Vionic authorized stores again to try and find the next size up in the purple and pay the shipping. I certainly miss when the company was Orthaheel not Vionic.

First I have a large foot (size 11) so am conscious of shoes that make my feet look like boats. The colors were more vibrant than I expected and the shoe occupies a large part of my foot. I wasn't a fan and returned them. They were true to size tending toward the larger side.

I had high hopes as I have many pairs of Vionics but this pair barely has any arch support. Disappointing I buy Vionic because I have high arches. These fit more like Ryka sneakers which don't have enough arch support.

I had hoped these would offer more cushioning. And I can hardly feel the arch support. I bought drug store inserts to help but needed two different types of inserts to get the cushion I need. So they are better but I probably would not have spent this amount of money on them if I had known this. But they are well made have options for the tension with the laces and are very sturdy.

I bought the size shoe as the previous pair I bought (of a different style). This pair was just slightly larger My right foot had moves a bit in the shoe but a smaller size would have been too small for my left foot. But they are comfortable as is. Just afraid I will rub off the back of the shoe before the shoe is worn out.

I wanted to like this shoe because the reviews were so good. The wide size runs narrow and I have a size 11 wide foot. I'll keep searching until I find the walking shoe for me.

I have had many pairs of the Walker shoe in white. This time I ordered the beige. Same 8w I always wear but the fit is terrible! The width in the toe area is just right but as I walk it gaps out on both sides in the heel area. Very annoying! I have many Bionic sandals too and they are just fine.

I usually buy another name brand walking shoe but after purchasing vionic flip flops which helped my plantars fasciitis I decided to purchase these walking shoes. I was disappointed in the arch support! The arch seems no different than a Nike!

I've purchased Vionic shoes for several years and love them. But the last three pair went back because they are short! I am a size 12 so there's no bigger ones to select. I'm hoping the manufacturers make whatever changes are needed to get the new shoes back to true size. I'm sad because I really love the Vionics I have which fit properly.

Purchased these to improve my foot comfort after lots of walking. I am still adjusting to them. They are a bit sturdier to what I had previously worn so they appear a bit more bulky. I have not experienced the same amount of foot fatigue as previously so they are an improvement. Time will tell if I will purchase again after normal wear and tear.

I bought these for walking. Ok. I ALWAYS wear an 81/2 shoe. Sometimes an 8. This shoe runs short. I exchanged them for a nine. And they're...ok. thin socks will help

My feet are complicated so I require a wide roomy toe box snug ankle collar good depth in the mid-shoe area to accommodate a high instep yet strong arch support as my arches collapse (flexible flatfoot) and am currently battling a painful case of plantar fasciitis. This is the second pair of Vionic shoes I've purchased and immediately returned because though they are highly rated for those of us with foot issues so far they just haven't worked out for me. This particular model just did not have the toe box room I need plus didn't have a strong enough arch. I also wish the sole especially the forefront of the sole had more flexibility. I do think it was a nicely manufactured shoe and the color was indeed a lovely shade of mauve (almost a light plum). I wish they had worked for me.

I've been trying many sneakers to help relieve plantar fasciitis and was hoping these would work because I wear Vionic slippers and flip flops and love them. Unfortunately although these sneakers are really cushioned for comfort and have the arch support in the insole they're really big and bulky in overall size. Not just inside the shoe where there's too much space but the shoe itself is much bigger than any sneaker I've worn. If you have thick wide feet these will be great. Sadly had to return. Will keep trying other Vionic shoes though because the arch support is really great.

With shoes intended for exercising walking etc. I have always heard you need to get one size up to avoid toes hitting the ends. These are too small while walking down a slight hill my toes jam into the ends. They are comfortable if you are always on flat ground no inclines. If they came in a larger size I would try that out but unfortunately I have big feet!

I've had my shoes about 2 weeks now. I bought the wide because my toe area is wide. The only issue I have is the right toe box seems smaller than the left toe box (not much) but just enough to make my toes feel cramped. Maybe a QC issue ??? Otherwise they fit fine comfortable to walk in and when wearing the shoes my plantar faciatis disappears.
