Very useful around the pool and the Spa. In contrast to flat flip flops, the sole is contoured and structured to support the feet. As I wear orthotics in shoes I prefer the arched support.

I recommend going a size bigger. I rather the slack at the back versus the tightness around the foot area. This was both with and without socks.
