I have a pair of similar style shoes in Blue & Red. They are so comfortable that I had to order these in tan.

I got these shoes for Christmas. I have has many pairs of the Striper laceless CVO shoes. These fit like and feel the same. That is that they are extremely comfortable. In fact they even have the strong elelastic through the tongue the will allow you to use them without laces. (here is a secret--The Striper shoes were formerly called Striper Laceless because they were intended to be worn that way. Now they are all sold with laces and just called Striper but any Spery shoe with that name has the elastic tongue so it can be worn laceless) I have actually worn these shoes with laces and they have good support and the wide flat sole is great for me as I have balance problems. Then there is the appearance. Get the gray ones. There are 3 different shades of gray on the shoes and parts of the shoe have smooth leather and parts have perforated leather. Add to that one of my favorite comfort features a padded collar and the are some of the best looking sneakers I have. Making them even classier the insoles seem to either be cork or a pretty good imitation. Whatever it is it is plenty comfortable.

I just recently received my SeaCycled Soletide sneakers last week and have had the opportunity to wear them for a few days now. They're exactly what I was looking for - something sneakerish for the summer with a nod to the "boat shoe" look that I can wear all day with no socks. These check all of those boxes and seem to be the quality I expect from Sperry. One thing I should mention is that I have a narrow foot but I wear a M in the original boat shoe. The M size in my Soletides are a little bit wider than in my original boat shoes, but that's okay with me because I intended for these to fit a little loose. The width difference is not too dramatic at all, just worth a mention. I also received a pair of original boat shoes in the same order, so I'm able to compare new to new. By the way, I hope it's okay to say this in a Soletide review, but I suggest buying both the Soletide AND original boat shoes because between those two you've got an unbeatably versatile set of summer shoes. I doubt I'll be wearing anything else on my feet until cold weather returns.

These Sperry Soletide sneakers are super comfortable! The quality of these sneakers is superb. The materials feel like that of a luxury sneaker. The soles of the shoes have plenty of surface area regarding the rubber. So they are extremely grippy on slippery surfaces. Which is definitely a great safety feature for when you go on boats and around pools. The navy color could not be more perfect, it is nautical personified. Beautifully done. The bed of the foot is cushioned and extremely comfortable, so are the heels. You can wear these all day without worry of getting calluses or blisters. The width is perfect and they run true to size. I'm excited to put these to good use this spring and summer, even beyond that. These really feel like they are built to last.
