All I want to know is why a large shoe company like Timberland does not know the difference between an oxford and a derby?

I got these for my two year old for the winter. They keep his feet warm and dry and keep him from slipping on ice.

I got these for my two year old boy. They keep his feet warm and have enough grip to where he doesn't slip while walking around/on ice. I like that they have half sizes as my son fits size five but they were getting a bit tight with other brands

This is the third time I have bought this shoe or its equivalent from Timberland, going back about 15 years. That's how long the first two pairs lasted. Of course, I noticed that the second pair, about 8 years ago, was inferior in some ways to the first pair in terms of solidity, materials, stitching, but really, after wearing them pretty hard for 8 years, I'm not complaining. Now, again I ordered the same shoes, and they seem, again, less substantial than the previous two, more lightweight, and the last seems to have changed because they're just a little longer than the pair I tossed last week. By the way, the second pair finally failed (again, after 8 years, not complaining) when the upper separated from the welt near the little toe ball of the foot.

I hate timberland They aren't the same as back in the days

I LOVE how these look when they are worn in, and I love the waterproof Timberland quality. I regularly receive complements about them. However, I have now gone through three pairs and each has not lasted more than 10months because the soles wear out very quickly. I can't keep buying a new pair each year, and I can no longer recommend them to others because of the poor quality of the sole. If they fixed this, it would be a FANTASTIC shoe that I would continue to buy and recommend.

This shoe was ordered in the pink full grain. The pearl nor silver emblem was on the shoe. I'm so disappointed. The shoe is absolutely gorgeous, but this is not what I was expecting.
