PERFECT, except that the soles aren't waterproof. I tried 6 different pairs of boots from Zappos in preparation for a Christmas market tour in Europe. (I'm including a collage of pictures comparing them in case it helps anyone else to see them on an actual (plus-sized) human. For reference: at their widest point, my calves are 16.5" in circumference (more than that with jeans on).) For me, these were the clear winners: so, so comfortable and relatively lightweight. They're easy to pull on with the little handles on the sides. The shaft of the boot is flexible, so it doesn't cut into your leg, but it's sturdy enough that it stays up and doesn't bunch around your ankle. And the soles are incredibly comfortable: I walked MILES in them every day for nearly 2 weeks straight, and my feet were never sore. They were also nice and comfortably warm, with one exception - the night in Budapest that it was raining and nearly freezing. And my toes getting cold that night was the fault not of the insulation in the boots but rather the one flaw in them overall: the soles aren't waterproof, despite what the label says. If you're walking through puddles, water is going to seep up through the soles and soak the linings of the boots. This started happening the first time I wore them on wet streets and just got worse throughout the trip. I tried to improvise, putting a shower cap between the sole and the insert, which mostly worked, but the combination of rain and cold on that one night was too much. I'd still be happy to wear these for walking long distances in the cold, but it's really disappointing that they're not actually functional in wet weather. If you're going to be walking on wet surfaces, consider a waterproof liner or a different pair of boots. I normally wear a size 9, and the size 9 fit me perfectly, even with cozy wool socks.

These are big stompin' snow boots, overkill for my needs but pretty cozy and comfy. My feet are regular to narrow with a normal to high arch. I'm a 6.5-7 and the 7 was too long in the toe and wide in the midfoot. I was able to slip my foot in and out without untying. Bogs 7 Chelsea fits me just about right if a bit tight in the toebox, so by comparison these seem big and bulky. Comfy footbed though.

I usually wear a 6.5, but I always buy a 7 in boots to wear with thicker socks. These boots are really wide in the toe area..more than usual, so I'm sending back. Otherwise I loved the color and I'm bummed the fit was just too big and sloppy on my foot, even with thicker socks.

I decided to try these and I'm so glad I did! I've been looking for a good pair of cold/wet weather boots for a good while now and these are a winner. The last time I tried Bogs the size 8 was too small and the size 9 was too big, but these are perfect! So probably would be good for people with size 8-8 1/2 feet. (For reference the previous Bogs boot I tried was the "Classic Casual Tall Lace Leather, Asin:B088ZL296N"). My feet are a bit triangle shaped, with wider toes and thinner heel so it can be tricky to find boots that fit and don't let my heels slip. The laces really help to keep my feet snug inside with no slippage, and also allow for thick or thin socks depending on the weather. (By the way, the laces are easy to use and tie.) The boots kept my feet warm in icy, snowy weather and now in rainy late winter weather, too. They also kept my feet warm and dry on the beach, and I submerged them up to under the laces. Pros: very warm, waterproof, plush and comfortable inside, and good arch support. Cons: quite heavy (so if you hyperextend your knees it might hurt a little)

Ordered size 6. Too big and combersome for my foot. The boots are cute and seem warm. I am not sure what the fur is? If it is faux, it seems real. I would never buy anything with real fur. Couldn't find what the fur is made of. Anyway, I have to send them back as I can't comfortably walk in them. Walking is important.

Boots are cute, pretty comfortable (haven't worn them for an extended period of time yet), seem very warm, and love that they are super easy to pull on!
