I was comparing these Bogs boots to Sorrel Brex Chelsea boots, Ecco Grainer combat boot-style waterproof, and Timberland Fleece Fold Down waterproof. I wear a 10. For fit, the best wereTimberland and Bogs, with Timberland providing the better fit. (Ecco and Sorrel were too small.) Comparing just the Bogs and the Timberland then, the Bogs at first had heel slippage, which seemed to minimize the longer I wore them. Besides overall fitting better, Timberland were warmer; however, they were less stylish. The Timberland were also harder to get on without the loop in the back to pull up and less suitable for office environment and day to day use, which is what I am purchasing for. If I were in a more outdoor work day to day environment, and didn't have to treat my hands so delicately for medical and less hassle reasons, I would have selected Timberland.

I got these for days when I need to be on my feet a lot outside in cooler weather. I was thrown off by the video and worried these might gap at the top, but they really don’t. Easy on and off and extremely comfortable. I’m normally between a 6.5 and 7, the 7s feel a little bigger than I’d like so I do wish I’d have gone with the 6.5, but it’s nothing a thicker sock won’t fix. Definitely see myself picking up another pair of Bogs in the future.
