I don't know where they get the minus 40 degrees claim. I wore my new boots yesterday in 25 degrees *above* (Fahrenheit) with medium weight wool socks, and within 45 minutes my toes were starting to get cold. Overall the boots feel reasonably comfortable, but where's the insulation? I was expecting *warm* boots, but feel deceived. What's going to happen when the temperature really gets cold? For this reason, I can't recommend these.

Comfort is not bad, but there is no way these are warm to -40. Wore them ice fishing in mid 20s and my feet froze. Very disappointed.

I purchased a 10, where i usually wear a 10 1/2. Fits nicely. Shoe appears very high quality.

These are my first Bogs and they are great! They are warm in the deep snow. They are sturdy.

Most comfortable you can buy.great all weather boot for me.

Not only is this a very comfortable boot but the aggressive tread is awesome. So much better in the snow then the competitors boots. Just sayin.

I bought a pair of boots and had a slight issue. Bog met and fixed the issue without comment. I recommend everyone use them!

Very comfortable. Michigan winters are cold but these boots keep my feet warm and dry.

Great boots for where I live in the mountains. Tried Muck Boots and they fell apart in less than a year. Very happy with Bogs.

These are warm, and the traction is great on snow and ice!

My sons like these boots. The tread is great and they are lightweight. A bit expensive buying these for growing feet- my 11 year old is already in men's sizes- but worth it for our cold climate to have good winter boots and Bogs are our go to. My only wish is more colors, it gets confusing when you have a lot of boys around, between my own kids and their friends, and they all have nearly identical black Bogs boots.
