These were cuter than I expected, they'd be great with slacks. Unfortunately, the back came up too high on my Achillles tendon, very uncomfortable. They're going back.

I really wanted these to fit, but they were painfully tight on my narrow feet. I tried to order the next width up but was unhappy with the color selection. Trotters are comfortable when they fit but I have had some styles be too narrow and others too wide in the same size and width.

Probably an anomaly... Purchased these shoes given the great reviews that were posted. The right shoe seems defective and the left was fine. I wore them off and on over two weeks while traveling and could not wear them over an hour. I will be returning them though I don't expect a refund.

These shoes look really sharp but I'm having a problem keeping them on my heels. I have put in innersoles as they stretch but still feel like they are slipping in the heel so I wear them when I don't have to walk too far.

I have a narrow foot, but these were still too narrow -- particularly in the toe. May be due to the flat toe style. Too bad - quite stylish and nice construction.

I wear a 7.5 N, but even the 8 N was too tight across the toes. The arch and ankle fit well. Too bad, I like the style and micro fiber.

Soft leather uppers, classic styling, no flaws in construction. I wear these shoes to dress up an otherwise plain pair of slacks and a blouse. The heel leather will require some more softening to avoid the "new shoe blisters". The toe box may be too low for those requiring space for pinched toes. I am hoping for some more stretching.

This is a comfortable and stylish shoe (especially for my very wide foot), but did not last nearly as long as the David Tates, which also came in a very wide width. Was disappointed in the leather, which was rather thin and got a hole easily when scuffed.

Shoes are not as comfortable as I had hoped. Toe narrows so much that they hurt after a few hours. Zappos did a great job getting the order out fast - I love Zappos!

A Mixed Review - I have a pair of black nappa Ash that fit quite well and are comfortable as long as I don't walk long distances in them, but I have another pair in the black microfiber that are exactly same size, but I can't wear them. They've sat in my closet for a year. They won't stay on my feet! I've put heel inserts in them, but that doesn't help. This isn't the first time that this has happened with Trotters. A number of them have gone back and I'm very hesitant about ordering any more.

Cheaply Made - I bought these shoes expecting that for the money that they should be good quality. The comfort level is good. However, the leather has ripped away so easily in several spots and they look like $10 shoes that are falling apart now. The first tear happened after less than a week of wear. Would definitely NOT recommend their shoes. They are comfortable but they look torn up so kind of defeats the purpose of a dress shoe.

Nice, but a little too long and narrow - I liked the look of these shoes online, but didn't love them quite as much once I got them. They look nice - a nice style to wear casually, with jeans, etc. but, they were a little tight and took a few wearings to break in. And they seem long - I feel like I'm constantly tripping on them. Overall, a decent shoe, but not as great as I expected.

This shoe is very attractive and fairly comfortable for a dressy looking shoe, but the leather is soft and too delicate. One shoe had a flaw in the leather right out of the package, so I am certain they will not hold up to much wear. I am sorry that I must return them, but I am afraid to get a new pair for fear it won't last. The fit is snug like I like for a narrow foot.

Fragile! The uppers on these shoes after about 5 wears. I have wide feet which may not have helped, but since I really liked how they looked and felt and paid over 70 dollars for them, it was dissapointing to have them ruin so quickly.

Absolutely beautiful dressy shoes, but if you have a very wide foot you will not be able to wear these. I wear a size 8ww and have a wide boxy foot with high arches, I was not even able to get my foot all the way in these shoes-- first time I've ever experienced this with any shoe marked 8ww. So I'd say these shoes are better for people with narrow feet.

Toe box way to narrow and leather too stiff.

The leather was beautiful but the shoe was so long with what seemed an extended narrow toe. I have a narrow foot and often a narrow is too wide but these were very, very narrow. Just didn't like their look on my feet either.

Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes. I have extremely high arches, which is why I buy shoes with elastic inserts. Even with that feature, these shoes were too tight for me! I love the style though, and own several similar pairs by other makers.

These are pretty standard for Trotters: the WWs are still fairly narrow in the toes, especially if you have bunions, but wide in the heels, and the arch support is non-existent.

Arch support was disappointing, and really my only complaint.
