I have narrow feet and ankles, the length of the shoe was right but my foot doesn't stay in the shoe as I walk. They are also quite pointy which I don't think the photos display very well from the front, head on.

I wish I had known that the toe of the shoe is very narrow. My fingers are crossed that after a couple of wearings they will stretch. I was also disappointed to find out that after wearing the boots once I can't return them. They are very cute though.

I purchased these shoes for Christmas. I only wore these a few times around my house when the pull tab pulled right out. After talking to customer service I was told that usually a replacement would be offered but my shoe was out of stock until fall. Instead they offered me a reimbursement if I went and got them repaired on my own. It was a quick fix but the shoes were brand new and it shouldve been the companies responsibility. I got my reimbursement a few weeks ago and now the shoes are in stock. Overall a let down in quality and customer service.

Beautiful boot. Too narrow in toe section would not recommend unless narrow foot

These shoes are so pretty and I knew going into it that they probably wouldnt fit my wide feet and large ankles, but I had to try! I ordered half a size up but they were still too narrow and even the ankle was applying more pressure on my joint than I anticipated. On one side of the elastic part on each shoe, the elastic initially felt shot, but I realized it must have just gotten something like glue on it because the stretch returned after working that stiffness out. I returned them because of the sizing issues. Make these in a wide, Nisolo, and I would love an excuse to try again!

For the most part I found these pretty comfortable and very easy to put on. However the heel is really big and I could feel my foot slipping out with each step. I also didn't realize how pointed the toe is and didn't find it flattering.

After eyeing these boots for years, I was really disappointed that they werent perfect. Although they were very attractive (rich leather, gorgeous pointed toe, and overall sleek design), I was so disappointed by the fit. I ordered my normal size and there was so much slippage in the ankle and heel! I am not of a delicate build, so this really surprised me. The toe area was snug, but would have likely broken in over time. I was disappointed that I had to return to boots. As a side note, I found the Nisolo Carmen Chelsea to be a much better fit, and even more luxurious!

I love everything about these boots (the shape and color is amazing), but the fit was off for me, and unfortunately I tried several things to try to make it work (as my heel kept popping up in the back), but nothing seemed to work. I really wish I could have made these work because they are truly amazing boots, but I'm hoping the next time works out!

The fit seems exactly the same on these, but the # sizes have changed, like shoe vanity sizing. This 7.5 fits exactly like the 8s I have from the old fit which is too narrow. Im a 7 in everything, rarely a 7.5, but sized up to 8 in Nisolo. Ordered 7.5 even after brand rep told me I should be ok with 7 but order 7.5 for thicker socks. Not so. Its like they just took the 8 and stamped 7.5, but its still too narrow! So disappointed!!! I do not have wide feet.

Good: I love, love, love the look of the shoe and more so that its ethical. Its of high quality and simply beautiful. Cons: 1) the bottom has no traction so I slip around when I walk on smooth surfaces. Literally couldnt hold the door open for a friend since my shoes we slipping. 2) the inside is also slippery so it squeaks when I walk due to friction from a slightly damp sock and flat leather. Very embarrassing to have squeaky shoes in a quiet office. Factor into your purchase 1) leather conditioner if you dont have it 2) shoe inserts to reduce squeaking and for added comfort 3) shoe traction pads for the bottoms

I have been admiring these boots for a while, and finally took the plunge a couple months ago. Initially out of the box, I thought they looked a bit stiff, and matte looking for rubber, but generally a good fit. But, then I started walking with them and boy, did they rub my right ankle raw (left ankle was fine). I thought it would take a couple weeks of pain to finally get the shoes worn in, but here i am after a month, and it still hurts a little bit, but not as badly as before. I started to think that my right ankle was deformed or something... it's not (whew). I think it's simply the elastic and the leather profile and how it lands at my right ankle. Kinda of disappointing, since this is my first Nisolo purchase.

These shoes were really cute, I like that they have waterproofed leather, but for shoes advertised as being good for commuters, I was surprised by how little traction the soles had. I was looking for shoes that would work for my lifestyle which involves walking to work and I didn't feel that these would fit the bill. Sadly returned them.

I LOVE my other Nisolo lace-up boots - they're also narrow with a pointy toe, so I assumed these would fit the same. Unfortunately, they feel too narrow and I wasn't sure about the material stretching so I returned. I had even sized a full size up to avoid the narrow problem, and I already have fairly narrow feet.

I ordered my normal size and would have needed the next size up. I didnt choose to reorder because the boot is quite stiff and I really need a bit more flex.

These look SO beautiful in the photos on the website, and I really want to love them, but.... they're just not that attractive ON a human. First of all, they're not flattering: the ankle hole, maybe because it is partly elastic, is really, really skinny, which is super-unflattering. I definitely can't (won't) wear them with tights, like ever because they make my legs look stumpy and awkward in shape/length... Maybe if you are matchstick-thin, they'd look okay. (For reference, I'm usually a size small, and wear size 4 in jeans...) Even with skinny jeans, I find myself passing on them and reaching for my trusty (and flattering) Frye boots again and again. One more thing: they look weirdly lumpy because the leather is thin or soft, I guess? which means that my pinky toes and big toes are sort of visible through the leather. Maybe some tweaks to the design would help? Sorry, Nisolo, I really wanted to love them!

I want to like these boots, but the fit is still an issue after 6-8 wears. Mainly, it's that the elastic goring on the outside of the boot is rubbing uncomfortably against my ankle bone. Hoping that with a little more stretch-out time will help. Also, as others have noted, boots are slippery. Walking on dry pavement is fine...but so far, if the ground is a little bit wet, it compromises traction. Bigger still, is wearing indoors and trying to walk on the waxed hallways at work. Again, hoping time will fix this, but would have expected some of these issues to begin to dissipate since I've worn them 6-8 times for extended periods.

I have pretty narrow feet to begin with and sized up a half-size and unfortunately they're still quite narrow after about a month of wearing them. I do like that they are ethically made. Maybe would benefit from sizing up a full size.

I wanted to like this boot. The style is beautiful. Unfortunately the narrow toe didnt work for me and the stiff leather wasnt something I was willing to work to break in.

I really like how these boots look. And I like that I can wear them in all sorts of weather. And they broke in very quickly. However, I got them two weeks ago and have worn them only a handful of times and the tab on one of them tore this morning. They've basically gotten no use, so it really should not have broken that quickly. Additionally, there is not arch support in them. Which is fine as long as I don't wear them every day. But I really wish the insole wasn't attached to the boot so I could take it out and put my own in.

Ok guys, I am a HUGE Chelsea boot fan, I purchased these to prepare for a trip to Europe (wanted a good boot since the trip is in the fall). I love these boots and ordered half a size up, however they are not what I expected. I'm a 7, ordered 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly, but I have found the bottoms slippery when walking on cobble stone, bricks, or down the stairs. They're definitely cute and stylish, but not for a trip! I ended up ordering another pair of quality suede boots off another website. I should have researched a tad more. These are stiff around my ankle, at first I assumed they needed to be broken in. But after having them for three months now I see that's not the case. Still a big fan but def not for a two week trip to Europe :-)

the heel strap came unattached. Disappointing.

I'm petite (5') with a small foot (size 5 or 5.5), so I knew I took a gamble when I bought this boot in the smallest size available, size 6. I read a ton of reviews saying you needed to size up in this one, so I thought it would be okay. And it was, in some respects. With really thick socks and adding a shoe insert, I think I could have made this boot work. However, they just looked too big and clunky somehow on my small frame and the boot looked too long. The boot also hit me in a weird spot above my ankle and I could tell it would rub really bad unless I had longer socks on. I really wanted to make this boot work, but the comfort, fit, and style did not agree with me. Please make your shoes in smaller sizes!

Theyre beautiful in pictures but not-so-flattering in person. The ankle opening is strangely narrownot in an uncomfortable waythey look awful with tights + dress/skirt. I like that theyre light, which makes them very comfortable, but that also means the leather has wrinkled quickly and looks kind of cheap. I was super excited about this company, but probably wont buy Nisolo again.

I sprayed these with a leather protector before wearing for the first time. The tips of the boots have slight scuffing after 10 wears, which I wasn't anticipating for a high-quality, leather boot. I'm a not disappointed in the overall construction given the price of these.

Love the style. Unfortunately, after two weeks of walking around in them, the sole on the right boot delaminated. I was expecting them to last much longer.
