I have Been wearing Haggar for many years. Cool 18 fabric is wonderful. Elasticity is terrific. However I believe the company has reduced the sizing so beware. (P.s.-I have lost 10 lbs so the fit is great for me but I am comparing these to past purchases).

The shorts, generally, are great. I have several pair. The buttons, not so much. On my most recent purchase for example, after ONE wear, the waist closure button crumbled where the thread attaches it. I assure you, the button was not inordinately stressed. Please consider including extras if you are going to cut corners on buttons.

Same material as pants, a little long in length for shorter guys.

These shorts are more formal looking than a typical slack-short. Great for outdoor summer events and nightlife. The fabric feels fantastic, and hangs straight and wrinkle free, I love the fit for that reason. FYI: The white is definitely country-club white, not what I expected and not exactly my taste, but that's partially my fault. The one star off is just for that. Next time I'll order a darker tone.

Great golfing shorts, they are breathable, and fit great. Just wish they offered different lengths being that im 6'4" they ran a little shorter than what im used to. My wife loves the way they look though.

These shorts are very comfortable and have a nice feel. They are light and perfect for summertime weather. They also dry quite quickly if you get them wet. These are dressier shorts so I wouldn't recommend them for casual wear.

THe fabric of these pants is really nice. It's cool and light, which is perfect for summer, and the addition of the uv protection is great for golfing and hanging out at bbqs. The cut isn't my favorite and the adjustable straps on the inside chafe a bit and I don't find necessary. I don't find myself reaching for these often because I don't like the inside.

I felt the quality was all over the map. Some were well made and others were sort of cheaply made. I bought 5 pair so I'm just comparing them. The prices were good so maybe I got what I paid for

The plaid patterns are sown as matching, in all pictures of this and similar products. My products is mismatched in leg to leg mtscthing, etc.

The shorts seems to be good quality, but the fit was not right for me. The waste was true to size but they felt very tight across the hips when I sat.

The shorts are polyester, so they're moisture wicking, quick drying, and keep you cool and feeling comfortable in warmer weather. The shorts fit and feel good, especially with the flex, every which way you move, the shorts "give" to move with you. The length of the shorts is just right for me, and sit just at my knee (I'm 5'11). My biggest complaint with the shorts are the shallow pockets. My wallet will fall out of them while sitting in my car. My keys and phone will fall out while sitting in the chairs at the movie theater or restaurants. If you don't keep things in your pockets, I'd recommend the shorts, if you don't, look elsewhere.

Comfortable pair of shorts here even for us larger guys. Do wish it was a slightly shorter inseam, but that's personal preference over anything. Not sure how the lighter colored shorts will fair with stains and sweat, but these hold up fine even in TX heat.

These are very comfortable shorts. I like how they fit as I've liked how all of my Haggar clothes fit. I ordered a white pair of these shorts and thought they would be comfortable for golfing. The problem is, I had to return that pair because I thought the white color seemed to be too see through for me. Navy blue turned out much better.

I love the fabric and design but the 38 is really a 36 that stretches to a tight 38. If I would have ordered the 40 it would have been better.
