Awesome bag! I just switched from a Diesel sling bag to the North Face Borealis and couldn't be happier. The size is perfect, not to big on your chest but has the room to carrie my essentials. The purple color is great.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I've got a couple of the full-size Borealis backpacks that I've taken on hiking/adventure trips to Central and South America, so I knew the chances of my liking this smaller sling were high... and I wasn't disappointed. I appreciate the light weight and smaller size for shorter day hikes--the pack is large enough to carry any of my water bottles (I never carry anything larger than 20oz), plus necessities like keys, kleenex, wet wipes, sunglasses, etc--and the adjustable bungee cords on the outside allow for easy and convenient stowing of a light jacket, down vest, extra shirt, or hat. The only things I'm not so crazy about are the phone storage on the strap--placement is good, but should be larger, and made out of something more substantial (maybe neoprene)--and the "expandable" water bottle pocket on the outside (which, as others have noted, would only fit a small, skinny, flimsy, bottled water). But, since a nice reusable bottle will fit inside, and my phone fits elsewhere, these issues aren't *that* big a deal.

Got this to hold my phone, keys, snacks, water pouch, and other random objects for when I go snowboarding. I haven't gotten to go up snowboarding yet this season, but everything fits and it's very convenient that you can access everything without needing to remove it.

Good alternative to the borealis mini backpack. Very functional and good for activities where you don't need to carry too much (and still comfortable with one strap).
