Somewhat disappointed. The bag could be a tad bigger and the water bottle holder is useless for carrying a water bottle. The shoulder strap could be a little longer as well.

The small pack looks to be well made, but the strap is way too short. The volume of the bag is perfect, and would comfortably hold what I need, but the short strap makes this unusable for me. Trying to see if someone in my family wants it as I already bought a different small pack from a different vendor. I guess this is one of the pitfalls of buying online where you can't try the product on first. great

I really needed this sling to have a dedicated water bottle pocket, I'm not sure what the side pocket is for but water bottles it ain't. Really disappointed, I wanted to love it so bad but I really need the interior space for something other than my water bottles

The sling pack was much more smaller than anticipated. I carry a small wallet, keys and cell phone and it was a tighter fit than would have liked.

I'm a solid M in womens clothing and the strap on this just barely closes at it's longest. I had on a t-shirt, no sweatshirt or coat. I really wanted to love this bag, but it will not work if I can barely close the strap!!

The fit of the sling is awkward. Bag itself is well made. Color varies from the picture. Picture shows it's a mustard color, it comes in a dingy mustard color in person. The sling only goes on one way. It cannot be swapped to the other shoulder. This is one size fits most but in reality doesn't fit majority. I'm a petite 5'2" girl and this fits me just perfect but my husband who is 6' and wider shoulders could not wear this comfortable nor could my friend who is 5'8 (her shoulders are slightly wider than mine but not by much. The pack itself sits awkwardly on the body. Aside from the color and fit of the actual bag, it really is well made. Would recommend for smaller built people, not built for people with a wider shoulder set or someone with a gut as it cuts pretty tight to the body even with the widest strap possible.

The bag is not as big as the photo. It is quite compact. The strap is low quality and short. It barely fits me
I wear large size shirts

Overall good craftsmanship, but the strap is comically short and the little pocket on the strap sits on top of your shoulder instead of across your chest. Poor Strap design.

I read the reviews and knowing that reviews are subjective I went ahead and purchased this sling. Big mistake. I was being choked by the strap. Will return and buy the borealis mini

It is too small. Maybe great for a child, but not an adult male

The bag is overall well made. But as other reviewers state, the strap is too short and the water bottle holder is so small it can only hold something that is a 3 ounce bottle for TSA compatibility. Doesn't work for holding any water bottles at all, And we tried a lot of them.

Everything is just a little too small including the water bottle pocket. I recommend looking into the Patagonia 8L Atom Sling instead and Patagonia has a more reassuring lifetime warranty anyways.

The bag quality is subpar and the strap is uncomfortable to carry as a sling!

This bag is too small to be of much use. It holds keys and a wallet, and that's about it.

The sizing is off. The strap length is too short and should be angled at the bottom so when you're wearing it, the strap doesn't bend at the attachment point of the pack. It feels like it should be for the youth or kids size. It's definitely not for adults. Also the elastic part for the water bottle is small. It only fits the skinny straight bottles.

This item is probably the worst Northface product I've ever bought. I also have many items similar to this, but this one is absolutely not worth a second look or even in the first look. You can't wear it properly and you can barely get into it it's extremely awkward. if that's not bad enough, it was a little dirty when I got it and within an hour it was even more dirty. I'm pretty neat I don't just throw things around but this particular item picks up dirt like there's no tomorrow.

The strap is far too small and not meant for those with broad shoulders. The padding on the strap wasn't the most comfortable and not enough pockets.

The strap is way to short for anyone other than a very petite person or child, I wish I would've read review before ordering it!

I buy coats and parkers and back packs from this company. i like that these products are water resistant because in Boston the snow is relentless. The snow becomes black slush and it sprays everywhere. It does NOT help that this interior is white. Its obnoxious. I thought this brand was about rugged outdoor wear in harsh climates. A white interior is for no rain no snow no hiking no sports which creates dirty hands. I have to find a faucet to wash my hands and take off my gloves to go into this white glove back pack. Not sensible at all.

Product was def not designed for a wide shoulder person more like for a petite female body it fit on my 11 year old perfectly the shoulder strap is way to short and you can't fit a regular sized iPhone into it which I thought was the whole point buyer beware

The product photos make this bag look bigger than it really is. Strap fully extended, it's choking around my neck and under my chest. I'm not a huge person. This feels like it's made for kids.
