The shoes are comfortable, but make squeaky sounds when moving in any direction.

Nice shoe, very comfortable.

I wanted something in black that could be used as dress or casual. These have been great. They are comfortable. I normally go with a 10 & ordered online. I found they were a bit too large & brought to a store to try in person. I went down to a 9.5 or maybe even a 9. I would have to check. It was an improvement & found the proper fit. I also purchased the made in Italy version. Excellent quality on both & the Upton offers a fair price. Glad I purchased both.

Bought these for husband, after one time wear he said he doesnt want to take them off because they are so comfortable.

The white core of the shoelaces is visible through the brown covering shortly after getting the shoes . I called Johnston and Murphy and was told that you cant replace because you dont carry accessories!!!! Very disappointing!!!

Very comfortable. I needed a grey dress shoe, and this is dressy/casual; would like it to be a little more dressy. Very good quality though.

Overall this is a great shoes and is very comfortable. My only issue is they the sole on the front top of shoes is coming loose after I ly a few weeks.

So far Im loving my first pair of J&M shoes. They look great and have all day comfort.

The Upton style shoe from Johnston and Murphy is fantastic for comfort and style. Im very hard to please so take it from Me, these are the best.

The shoes are comfortable and stylish. I like them because they have a darker sole as Im not a big fan of the white sole shoes.

I like the shoes a lot. They are my most comfortable pair of shoes. I was going to order another color, but have now discovered that they are made in China. Im trying to avoid items made there as much as possible.

Very nice shoes but laces did not hold up very well. Broke soon after wearing a few times and havent been able to find any to replace

Just as the title states, upton are a great stylish shoe that can be both professional and casual as well. Only complaint I have is my pair arent even a year old and the sole is already coming apart on the front of the shoe.

These shoes rub under my ankles, much like the Holden Plain Toe (with a little break-in). However, the McGuffey GL2 Hybrid Plain Toes may be the most comfortable shoes I own. So there's that. I would not buy these again.

Great shoe or at least I think it will be if I dont have to wait 4 weeks to get them. Bad deal on not having shoes in stock in your Garden city location. I spent 155 dollars on shoes and cant walk out with them. Please keep more in stock thank you

Probably my least favorite shoe I own from J&M, and I own(ed) a lot (probably 20 pairs). The heel of the shoe was extremely stiff, caused chafing on the back of my foot even after several wears. I've tried to work it down and soften it up with no luck. Great looking shoe, but will stay clear of this line. Have not had this problem with any others.

Can a shoe be too light? Hat certainly seems to be the case here. Just feels cheap. The laces started to decompose after two weeks. Who tries to save money by making cheap shoe laces? Ive been a customer for years but cant recommend this product

These are comfortable and easy on/off but tend to scratch easily.

I highly recommend this shoe - its versatile, light on the feet and very comfortable. Its just another reason that Johnston and Murphy are my shoe of choice for over 50 years.

One of the most comfortable shoes Ive had in a long time. I have worn these shoes for 14 hrs plus a day. Definitely worth getting!

One of the laces has white bleeding through the brown outer shell of the lace. The other lace is fine so clearly one of the laces is white with a brown threaded shell. It was worn so that white is visible (and doesnt look good) within weeks of wearing the shoe. Can you send me new laces? Otherwise, Im happy with the shoe look and comfort.

My old pair of J&M casuals finally wore out and these were the closest I could come. They are significantly lighter in weight, which is good, however they feel much cheaper in quality vs. my old shoes. Additionally, the heel is much less defined/pronounced than I was expecting. I would call them a serviceable replacement, but not sure I would get them again.
