Size is larger than other JM shoes I have purchased, using inserts to adjust for the difference.

I have wide feet and this was too tight on the sides. It runs long. That said, the quality continues to be exquisite and top-notch; I buy my shoes exclusively from J & M!

Great style shoe, but run at least half a size bigger than other JM shoes I bought.

I wear size 9, but even these 8.5 shoes were way too big.

The sizes are difficult to predict while purchasing online. The sizes are bigger than usual size one wears normally. You can return the products and it's really good. However, it's tough to exchange since they do not provide you with a guarantee to ship the required size. I would suggest to but in store if you haven't used any product of JM yet.

The quality of JM shoes has deteriorated over time, and it's disheartening to see that this particular pair, although it looks nice, feels incredibly cheap and runs big.

My shoe size 9.5 and I purchased JM Meade Penny Size 9.5. It was "longer than standard size shoes that I always wear"" and there was a gap on my back side of shoes. So I requested exchange to size 9. I got it expecting it would be tight enough but my shoes are still taking off from my feet since they are loose again from back. I have already worn 3-days hoping my feet will get used to loose shoes and tried with very thick socks but still loose and not comfortable at all. No idea what to do. Thanks

I loved the look and quality of the shoe but they did not fit. These shoes run about a 1/2 size too big. I sent the shoes back over one week ago for an exchange but have not received my new pair yet. In saying this, the return process is very easy and I will continue to purchase J M shoes due to their outstanding quality.

Runs large. I wear a 9.5 so ordered a 9 based on reviews. Still too large- the shoe slides off my heel.

Shoes felt sloppy and sizing seemed off. Upon reviewing shipping label, these came from the outlet J&M, not the actual store location. Thus, you are not really getting the actual shoe on sale but rather the "outlet quality" shoe at regular price. This should be more transparent when ordering. This will cause me to rethink ordering from J&M and seek other options. Overall, the shoe looked like the picture online

Nice looking shoe, but longer and narrower than other JM shoes I've purchased.

Beautiful shoe but did not fit. Constantly slipped off the heel when walking and the toe felt too long.

I do not like the style which I could not figure during purchase. I had to return the shoes. Service was good though

Unfortunately I had to return it back. The quality is amazing . These shoes looks great but they were too tightly for me .

I have a pair of the same shoe in 10M and fit is good. This shoe was a little loose in the fit, 10M also?

Size is way off. I wear Johnston Murphy daily and this style just fits completely different. Toe and width feel okay but the shoe is too long and heel box is too wide. Slips horribly. I really should have heeded other reviews but I don't normally check them out since I've not had issues previously. Now with my last two pairs I've had a quality issue and the sizing issue.

It's a great looking shoe but the fit is way off. I wear Johnston Murphy everyday and never really have had an issue with a shoe or the fit so I didn't read the reviews. Kicking myself now as this seems to be a pretty common complaint. Thye are at least a half size too big. My concern is the toe and width feels okay but the heel slips horribly. Disappointed as I've never had issues. Now, my last two pairs have had a quality issue and now this fit issue. Hoping this isn't a sign of things to come.

I've bought these shoes twice. The first time they were 1-2 sizes to big, I returned them and got the smallest size and they are still way to big. I've never had a shoe from Johnston and Murphy that does not fit correctly except for these.

This shoe looks horrible. Does not look like a $100+ shoe. I have returned it. Please refund my money. Very disappointed.

Returned these. I wear size 12 and the 12's I received were about 1.5 inches two long. Shoe stiff as a board.

I bought these shoes on a whim during Black Friday as they looked great. Unfortunately, they arrived an entire size too large. Upon further investigation I learned that other folks have complained about the same incorrect sizing on the J M website and other platforms. Perhaps its UK sizing disguising itself as U.S. sizing I can't be sure. This issue should be dealt with front and center or the line discontinued in its entirety as its frustrating to receive a great deal only to have to return it due to incorrect sizing.

Returned them for different size on Nov . 30 th still do not have replacement or ant word of returned shoes or I'd others are being sent as I was told they would be,

Not what I expected

Shoes look very nice but the leather was scratched and had ripples. They are seconds at best. Width is a little tight and they only come in medium, no wides available. I ordered an exchange. If next pair is of similar quality I'm going to be very disappointed and will not be buying JM again.

Don't like the way it fits around the heel does not have a Good feel R Orr
